No question in my mind that Lewis was far too good at his prime for anybody else in the heavyweight division maybe ever.\

i hope that statement is a joke

Hell even Michale Sprott almost equalled it but the difference is Danny came in shape against Sprot he was too fat against Vk . As for the Mosley anaolgy , no he doesnt have to give Vrags a return , he beat him fair and square . Why should he be punished cuz Vargas' face couldnt atke his shots . Its his own good will that a return is happening . He doesnt owe a rematch just as Lewis doesnt owe the guy he beat anything . The money was adequate so the champ made the right decision .

luvfightgame- How am I not be realistic ? Everything I say is factual . It was a bulsshit way to win ? If the fight went on Vk's face would have been damaged beyond repair . Are you suggesting they should have let the fight continue ? I dont understand your point here . You may think the klit would have won a return which I disagree with cuz Lewis was a monster when he was motivated . Vk had his chance against an ill prepeared champ like Mcall and Rahman but he didnt take it . If ever he was guna beat Lewis it would have been that night but he couldnt last 6 rounds
Absolutely incredible.............if I've learned one thing from this thread it's not to take you seriously anymore.

Fact--Not once not one time did Klitschko show signs of being wobbled or stunned by anything Lewis threw.

Fact - Lewis was way way more tired than Klitschko and probably more tired than I had ever seen him.

]Fact Lewis was Rocked by Klitschko.

Klitschko dismantled Corrie Sanders and offered up one of the most one-sided 8 round beatings in years. Corrie Sanders face looked like something off of Star Trek after the fight.
Danny Williams.....if I were you I wouldn't have brought that fight up. That was a huge a**-whooping.
Even Don King said that it reminded him of someone beating on their little brother.
It was even more one sided than the Sanders beating.

How could you come on here and blatantly lie about fights

We all know what happened because it's on video.
FACT - - Lewis won fair and square . Thres no controversy winning on cuts

FACT - After the uppercut in the 6th , Vitali started holding

FACT - Lewis smiled after getting hit by Vitalis best shot

FACT - Lewis was in the worst shape hed ever been in and was older and slower than weve seen him before . Rahman and Mcall took advantage , Vitali could not

FACT - Lewis won the 6th on all the scorecards , therefore was in control when the fight was stopped .

I fail to see how Vitali could have possibly gone on to win . He was slowing down . Lewis was just getting started , His best shots couldnt hurt Lennox , his face was ripped to shreds , Another round and he would have been KTFO .

BTW I never took you seriously in the 1st place
man I think you need to rethink using the word FACT. I'll agree with you that it is factual that Lewis won the fight and that there is nothing controversial about winning on cut stoppages. But when you are the HW champ of the world and win a fight on cuts that you are losing 4 rounds to 2 and then refuse a rematch it makes you look one thing ...scared regardless of the truth. The fact that Vitali held in the sixth makes little or no difference. Both of the guys were dropping hard punches and both fighters clinched several times when they got hit. So to say he started holding is as factual as saying Lewis was holding all night. Lewis smiled after getting hit? So did David Reid everytime he got up off the mat against Tito and so have countless other fighters when they just got hurt. Yes Lewis won the sixth round but was losing the fight so...no he in fact was not incontrol. He was the in the fight of his life and losing it. Every Lewis nuthugger cries about how out of shape he was. He was training for a championship fight, its not like the guy had just come off of vacation. and its not like the fight went 10-12 rounds. It went 6 rounds for crying out loud. I'm pretty sure Lennox could get in the ring today and give us 6 good rounds. He wasn't fatigued b/c he was SO out of shape. He was tired b/c a big ukrainian was pounding on him. Don't give me the age factor either. Every Lewis fan is quick to point out that Lewis's prime was late in his career. You can't have it both ways. Either he got KO'd by two average fighters in his prime...or he was late developing into his prime. Lets drop the FACT comments, b/c putting FACT in front of a statement doesn't make it so

Everything there was a fact so feel free to point out an untruth .

Lewis in the last fight of his career won in 6 rounds and he wasnt even in good shape . Thats the bottom line . Where is the lie in that statement?

Lewis scared of a rematch ? What a ludicrous statment that is . Heres a man that beat everyone he fought . If hes not scared of fighting guys that knocked him out in rematches then why would he suddenly develop fear against a guy he beat on his worst day ? It doesnt make sense .

Face the harsh reality , Klitscko at the end of the day just wasnt good enough and quit at the prospect of fighting Rahman . He should take up something else like politics but by all accounts he was a complete failure at that too

Lewis Destroyed Holyfield, and he would have Beaten Bowe, Bowe would have been beaten mentally before he got in the ring with Lewis, like many of Tysons opponents were.

A coward has no heart, Bowe, has no heart....

for you sir, at last someone comes out and speaks the truth, there are a lot of whiners on here who never liked lwewis, who never respected lewis and who love to diss Lewis.
Lennox lewis chased Riddick Bowe all over the planet to get a fight with the guy and Bowe was chicken sh-it scared of lewis because he knew that Lewis was all wrong for him and that Lewis would have smashed his flabby over rated and over hyped ugly dumb face in.
Bowe was never even half the fighter Lewis was.
I can never forgive Bowe for giving up his title and ducking Lewis, that was just cowardly in the extreme.
Same way I look at Lewis after ducking the VK rematch.
ditto...........what goes around comes around....Lewis ran away from VK faster the Justin Gatlin...
LOL!!! is that wind aided Justin Gatlin
