No question in my mind that Lewis was far too good at his prime for anybody else in the heavyweight division maybe ever.\
i hope that statement is a joke

man I think you need to rethink using the word FACT. I'll agree with you that it is factual that Lewis won the fight and that there is nothing controversial about winning on cut stoppages. But when you are the HW champ of the world and win a fight on cuts that you are losing 4 rounds to 2 and then refuse a rematch it makes you look one thing ...scared regardless of the truth. The fact that Vitali held in the sixth makes little or no difference. Both of the guys were dropping hard punches and both fighters clinched several times when they got hit. So to say he started holding is as factual as saying Lewis was holding all night. Lewis smiled after getting hit? So did David Reid everytime he got up off the mat against Tito and so have countless other fighters when they just got hurt. Yes Lewis won the sixth round but was losing the fight so...no he in fact was not incontrol. He was the in the fight of his life and losing it. Every Lewis nuthugger cries about how out of shape he was. He was training for a championship fight, its not like the guy had just come off of vacation. and its not like the fight went 10-12 rounds. It went 6 rounds for crying out loud. I'm pretty sure Lennox could get in the ring today and give us 6 good rounds. He wasn't fatigued b/c he was SO out of shape. He was tired b/c a big ukrainian was pounding on him. Don't give me the age factor either. Every Lewis fan is quick to point out that Lewis's prime was late in his career. You can't have it both ways. Either he got KO'd by two average fighters in his prime...or he was late developing into his prime. Lets drop the FACT comments, b/c putting FACT in front of a statement doesn't make it soOriginally Posted by GAME

Lewis in the last fight of his career won in 6 rounds and he wasnt even in good shape . Thats the bottom line . Where is the lie in that statement?
Lewis scared of a rematch ? What a ludicrous statment that is . Heres a man that beat everyone he fought . If hes not scared of fighting guys that knocked him out in rematches then why would he suddenly develop fear against a guy he beat on his worst day ? It doesnt make sense .
Face the harsh reality , Klitscko at the end of the day just wasnt good enough and quit at the prospect of fighting Rahman . He should take up something else like politics but by all accounts he was a complete failure at that too
Lewis Destroyed Holyfield, and he would have Beaten Bowe, Bowe would have been beaten mentally before he got in the ring with Lewis, like many of Tysons opponents were.
A coward has no heart, Bowe, has no heart....
