I do understand what jaz is saying to a certain degree but he clearly has issues seperating raw passion and the odd 2-3 clowns he is refering too. No i wasnt at the weigh in but i think after at least 12hours air time, 36hours in and and around the strip im quite able to assess my own take on the fans that went over and as ive already mentioned you seemed to be in the small minority that didnt have a good time.

The support we give our sportsmen/women is second to none and a joy to behold. Just because a few bad eggs who`ve had one too many tizers decide to take it too far doesnt diminish the accomplishments of the large majority.

I was proud coming home from vegas. Not because of rickys performance or the fact that we outsung the fillipinos. But being able to see and hear those sort of emotions for a sport you love so dearly is something i`ll take to my grave with me!!
I had a great time, I just thought that a large number of Hatton's fans were tools. This whole raw passion thing is bollocks, I couldn't give a shit about fans singing songs or whatever else they want to do. But, boxing fans don't boo Shane Mosley so no one can hear what he's saying.

Calzaghe v Hopkins? Mate that fight wasnt even on ppv wasnt the biggest off fights far from it, Calzaghe RJJ are you for real hahahaha!!!

RJJ was nearly 40 years old and been knocked out numerous times how the hell can you comapre that to Hatton v Mayweather or Hattn v Pac is beyond me.

Lewis v Holyfield I would say is the quite a valid point but Lewis wasnt really taken as a fully fledged Brit If were being honest here.

Hatton had a decent career and brought a great crowd to Vegas on a couple of occasions, but you do over rate him quite a bit mate, will he be in the hall of fame Im not sure.
So hatton shouldnt be considered a more popular boxer than calzaghe because he faced the greater opponents?

whats your point here
