    Can be a couple of things...

    Either the player has a new born.
    Or is dedicating the goal to his baby.

    Or as others said a team mates having a baby.

    The thumb sucking is similar to Bebetos Baby Rocking celebration... In honer of babys.

    I watched a few minutes of the U-17 game between Spain and the U.S., a Spanish kid scored and sucked his thumb, maybe he was just imitating his idols. Or he or one of his 16 year old friends had a baby who knows.

    Maybe it's because they mean Fifa should blow up those balls because they're not firm enough.
