#1 I feel bad for PW because he can't get a fight vs anyone big, I don't know why but it certainly seems that way. And when he does get a big fight, his opponent drops out.

#2 I thought Paul Williams was going to dismantle Kelly Pavlik...southpaw, power puncher, long reach, throws punches in bunches non stop every single round.

#3 Sergio Martinez is a tricky fighter and I think he's a BIG threat to beating Williams who by the way got his ass handed to him by Quintana. Williams needs to be aggressive but Martinez being a slick defensive fighter and a solid counter puncher will give him hell when he misses and PW WILL miss a fair number of times.

This is a more difficult fight for Williams, I can only hope he comes in both guns blazin

You failed to mention that Paul is non stop averaging over 100 punches a round which would give ANYONE a problem. If people would fight Paul maybe his status wouldn't proceed him. I give credit to Paul for climbing up and down weight classes to get a fight. He will fight anybody.

Yeah, he just makes sure it's at a weight that's advantageous to him. If he hadn't come out with all this stuff about how he's come out of his natural weight-class to find fights I wouldn't care, but he made a big thing about it & now he won't come down to meet Martinez at 154? Kind of pisses me off. He's a natural Middleweight who was able to get down to Welter for awhile, but now probably would find it tough making LMW. I'd have more respect if he'd admit that rather than carry on with this talk of being ducked by everyone from 147-175.

#1--He's not worth his lack of draw; he needs more fights like this to get more fans clamoring.

#2--By no stretch of the imagination is he a power puncher. Incredible reach, better than average speed, and tons of volume--those are all his selling points, but if he great power, Winky wouldn't have lasted the thru the 5th round. Kelly Pavlik is a power puncher,he's a little taller than Williams, and has the reach to counter-punch him, (maybe; there's still a 7in difference in reach). Perhaps Williams could have boxed him to death, but at least this time it would have been a case of Williams just having 10in reach advantage on someone.

#3--Quintana did win the first fight. No question. No better answer to a loss than a first round mollywopping though. Sergio is a hell of a boxer, and I think this is going to be one of the greatest fights that no one is going to watch, unfortunately. In my mind, this fight hinges on Sergio's ability to counter, and disrupt Williams' rhythm and volume.

    1. He's had big fights and it's what he did that made people like Floyd Mayweather Jr. a bit apprehensive about fighting him.

    2. Williams has some good pop, he leveled Quintana pretty good. It's just he usually overwhelms people with his output, I think that style will start to change when he adds more weight.

    3. Sergio Martinez is exactly like Williams, too dangerous for anyone to take a chance vs. Martinez is a tough TOUGH fighter to beat.

That's what I need to see.
