HAHAHAHA, you think bruce lee was only an actor. He's one of the greatest martial artists ever to live. Omg, you think all those things you see he does in the movies are done with cgi or something? You're a funny man. Bruce lee could have killed ali/tyson without even trying to, bruce lee could fight 30 other martial artists and still won. You guys so underestimate bruce lee... Maybe you're all racist and don't like that small asian guys can kill big white and black guys without even trying. Ali and tyson do stand a chance, if they had a gun on them... mwhahahahaha

I want to know what saddo has to say about this, I bet you he'd agree that a professional boxer can't beat a martial artist. I've never even seen tyson/ali throw there legs up in the air like a martial artist. And most of you probably don't even realize the fact that your legs are more powerful than you arms once you train them right. You're lower body is the most important thing as a fighter no matter if you're a boxer/martial artist. But for some reason I have never seen a boxer throw there legs up in the air, unless its a kick boxer.

You sound frustrated, like the girl did not love you back or something. Bruce Lee was the greatest fighter of all time, Martial arts or not, why not compare and everyday martial artist and why would it bother you so much considering this is a boxing forum not a martial arts forum. Besides going racial was stupid and as a new comer you are already losing credibility

if you wanna see him really lose credibility go to the predictions forum and look at the post he made on taylor\wright, saddo tore him one

normally i wouldnt rat someone out like that but DAMN this guys got issues

    see for yourself

Of course in a boxing match, but if it was a real fighter. Ali, stand no chance in hell. Can ali admit that since he is still alive shaking with his diesease he got from taking so many punches to his head.

i think he has parkinsons or something
Yeah, and of course he naturally got it... It didn't happen from all the punches he took from big guys like george foreman. MWAHAHAHA... LoL
but parkinson's does not explain why he speaks so damn sllllooooowwwwllllyyy....the guy definetly took too many punches to the head.
Nah parkinsons is a natural thing. I mean Michael J. Fox has it and i doubt hes been in more than 5 fights in his life. But the slow speech is probably from the punches to the head.

I think Bruce Lee's whole thing is that

"Any Martial Artist can be beat by a boxer in a boxing match."

thats what his whole point was, that in a boxing match many martial artists would be beaten by a boxer.

I'm guessing this whole post is a troll.

135 lb Bruce Lee could 215 lb Ali and Tyson, erm yeah ok

Maybe I'm just dumb but outside of the Karate Kid and Jean Claude Van Damme films does anybody really fight by doing flying kicks and spinning upside and down and stuff?

    I doubt it.

Every UFC fight I've seen the fighters who try and kick end up slipping over and being murdered on the floor.

There is a reason that Chuck Lydell is number 1 and it has something to do with the fact that he boxes, rather than tryie fancy kicks I think

Uh how is that funny? I mean...yeah that may have been a factor but he still beat those guys and you're holding the fact that he got hit against him?

Because NO boxer could ever beat a martial artist, unless that martial artist hasn't been training for years like bruce lee. Bruce lee was training in martial arts way before most of these boxers ever started fighting. Like They probably were boxing when they were like 12 years old, while bruce lee has been doing martial arts probably since his was about 5. I can't believe how many idiots say UFC Fighters/boxers can beat martial artists. First off these boxers may throw fast punches, but compared to a martial artist, they are slow. And most boxers already know that, boxers aren't stupid.
what exactly do you mean by martial artist? That is a pretty big generlization. Do you inlcude sambo, BJJ, silat, kimpo, muy thai, grco roman etc. If were are talking about a NHB fight in a ring I'd tend to agree that fighter with good experience in takedowns/grappling and some striking will beat a boxer. That being said TKD/Karate/KungFu fighters are not a discipline I'd put money on against a top boxer. Those disciplines tend to focus to much on the art and not enough on the real world application. Now if we are talking about bar/party brawl (which is where most of my real world fights have happened) I'd give the boxer better than even odds against just about any discipline.

A martial artist... are we talking about someone who is committed to one art? Say kung fu, karate, judo etc? If so, then you are foolish. UFC exposed martial artists for what they are... fighting styles that work great when isolated. Put it up against someone who can grapple, punch, kick etc and they don't have much of a chance. A kung fu practitioner unless trained in grappling, flails around on the ground looking rather hopeless.

A mixed martial artist in my opinion is the ultimate fighter in a no rules, or few rules situation... it is made to be effective in this area. Kung fu and the rest work well against other martial artists in a situation with rules... or against some average joe on the street who hasn't got a clue.
