[quote=Fatsandman;807364]So am I mate, my point was, that whomever won most rounds DESERVED to win and anything else about Champions/Challengers/Venues/Crooked promoters should be irrelevant if the guy that won most rounds got the verdict. If you think Valuev won more rounds then fair enough.
[QUOTE=BIG H;807367][quote=Fatsandman;807364]Well then I suppose it all depends on who we both thought won that fight. I thought Valuev won it by 3 rounds simply by Hayes reluctance to engage (and back up his big pre-fight talk) for much of the fight.
If thats the criteria then maybe my thoughts of dirty dealings may be off the mark.. But I stick by my impressions...
Cheers BH
[quote=Fatsandman;807376][quote=BIG H;807367]If you think Valuev won by 3 rounds then you have a right to think that the fix was in. I just can't see that scoring, coz much as I don't rate Haye, Valuev was horrendous and just plodded forward like a mummy and swatted thin air all night. Was still very close though and I would have had no problem with 114-114 or 115-113 either way.
It may not have been a robbery like Lewis v Holyfield but does anyone doubt that King's 'influence' came into play that night?
Same face, same result. King wins again..
And don't get me started on the Kennedy assassination (only kiddin!)

Haye won in a shit fashion but he won because Valuev landed eff all (on old china chin) for 12 rounds.
Shit, shit, boringly shit fight. But had Haye been KO'd everyone would have been calling him an overrated pathetic shit cunt.
Haye used his brain, got the win and pissed everyone off because they didn't see what they were expecting.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
It was a Valuev fight after all Fenster. But it was Haye that most were banking on to rise it a level or two above shit and he didn't (or couldn't)..
If the fight is shit its usually because Valuev had the ability to keep it that way. Haye seemed content to fight shit with shit..
My impression was that Valuev seemed to win by three shits.
And that is why heavyweight is so unappealing these days... How many fights can you describe as two fighters (insert bolded text here)....
Get these giant freaks of nature who are only champs because of their enormous size out of boxing, and bring back the heavyweight ATHLETES who's number one craft is boxing and bringing the pain..... Not use your giant size to keep someone away and win on points..... It is boring as sh!t for boxing, and how many belts are exchanged in this way, while fans are falling asleep in the stands....
I mean, it's fine, we have so many other divisions of boxing which keep boxing as the number one sport on the planet, but if the recipe for a certain division is the more boring you can make the fight, the better chance you have of winning, then of course the excitement is going to be at a minimum.
~ He thinks he's a Tornado,,,... F'ckn real Tornado is comin'...! ~Hidden Content
The problem is the top american athletes go to other sports for big money now, where they are not risking life and death. The likes of Tyson and Holyfield were similar size's to Haye and I would put a fortune on them in their primes walking through all todays HW's. They were class operators!
