He did what he needed to do to win.... That is the number one aim of being in boxing, and being a fight.. To do what you need to do to win... That keeps boxing exciting at almost every level...
When HW begins to have some dangerous fighters again who are there to rip your head off, the excitement will come back, because that "do what you need to do to win" will become about ripping your opponents head off before he does that to your's...
At the moment, fighters are doing what they need to do to win, and that isn't taking someone's head off.. It's earning points and avoiding getting KO'd... That is just the state of it, and you can respect the fighters for training enough to be able to have it over their opponents.. But until we have some dangerous characters thrown into the mix which force a more urgent brand of boxing at heavyweight, this is what we should expect most of the time... Love it or hate it...
