i think haye won btw
So far I've only been able to make it through 5 rounds of Haye - Valuev, but I have Haye ahead by one round at this point.
Dirrell definitely deserved to win.
I voted Haye and Dirrell but wasnt surprised that Froch won and wouldnt have been surprised if Valuev won.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Haye definitely won.
Dirrell won but made himself look like the loser. If Dirrell hadn't moaned, held and crumbled to the canvas so much I have no doubt he would have got the decision.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I went for Froch and Valuev.
Actually I think both fights could have gone either way. I don't think Froch beat Dirrell, I scored it a draw, but both Froch and Dirrell were better than Haye and Valuev imo.
Valuev is probably the worst boxer of world class level in the world.
Haye fought the most pathetic fight I have ever seen.
He actually did a worse job against Valuev than Holyfield, John Ruiz and Ruslan Chagaev, who imo all beat Valuev much more convincingly but Haye is the media darling so he got the decision and the plaudits for what was a frankly embarrassing showing.
When Valuev actually fights a real heavyweight contender you will see him get beat properly.
On the plus side Haye gets to fight John Ruiz, which I think is definitely a losable fight for him.
Ruiz is rough and tough, and will likely make the 12 rounds without a problem. Haye isn't anywhere near Roy Jones and James Toney level and if Ruiz comes in good shape I see him frustrating Haye and maybe even stopping him late.
I simply can't see how you could have one & not the other. If you haven't got either Haye & Dirrell or Froch & Valuev, you are a hypocrite. End of. Fact. Bam. Braaap.
Haye-Valuev was closer. Also probably more boring P4P wise, I have no intention of ever watching it.
No I'm going to imply you're a fanboy before slowly starting to abuse you more & more over a trivial issue. We will both keep repeating the same points over & over whilst others get bored & commit hari-kari.
But seriously, if you tell me which fighter earned a victory most out of all of those I'd go in order
Dirrell
Haye
Valuev
Froch
I just cannot see how someone could have both Haye & Froch winning, or Dirrell & Valuev. You can say Dirrell bitched & moaned, but Haye's activity levels made Dirrell look like Paul Williams, so that evens itself out for me.
Amazingly Jaz I actually agree with you on this.
The Valuev Haye fight was just a repeat of the Froch Dirrell minus all the action and holding.
Valuev was worse than Froch in that he did nothing, Haye was worse offensively than Dirrell but at least he didn't fall over all the time.
Haye possibly deserved to win more than Dirrell although both fights could have gone either way.
I think all four fighters came out as losers however, two terrible fights, I just hope we never see either rematched.
I think Froch should hire Valuev post haste!
Valuev definately has a better, quicker jab AND left hook, even though he was throwing it from 12 and 1/2 feet away and missing his target. But yet, it was better then Froch's. He'd be a good addition to team Froch me thinks.
(I might be in the wrong thread with this...)
I see what you are saying Jaz, but they were 2 completely different fights and unless they were exactly the same that there can be different levels of crapness and different winners. I don't see why somebody couldn't pick Haye and Froch (I picked Haye and Dirrell) Froch did not throw/miss exactly the same amount of punches in all of the same rounds as Valuev, the fights can be scored differently.
