It was the most pants fight I've ever seen.

And he didn't fight a perfect fight. He performed no better than John Ruiz or Evander Holyfield did, in fact I think they both beat Valuev better than he did, but neither was an attractive proposition for the heavyweight division so they both got robbed on the scorecards.

Valuev has only fought 4 fighters who wern't complete bums and all four of them beat him, but only Haye and Chagaev got the decisions because Holyfield and Ruiz are unpopular champions for the image of heavyweight boxing.

Valuev was a manufactured champ like Primo Carnera, who got the belt because he's a freakshow and people wanted to see him.

Now Haye has come along and is more marketable so he gets the win over Valuev despite doing a worse job than Ruiz and Holyfield against him.

I don't object to Haye winning, Valuev should have 4 losses on his record at least I just don't think Haye should get much credit for it.

It is less impressive than Amir Khan beating Andreas Kotelnik or Barrera imo.

Valuev is a garbage fighter.

John Ruiz will be a tougher test for Haye.
once again bilbo u make me believe my own thoughts are bullshit cause u make so much senese, lol, too be honest with u i didnt see the ruiz fight i only saw the holyfield fight, and yeah hoyfield made it look a better fight than haye but he didnt make valuev miss like like haye did. can i ask u who u thought won the fight haye vs valuev and why
Haye won quite comfortably. The art (or science) of boxing is to hit your opponent and not be hit yourself. That is exactly what Haye did to Valuev!
