Well as a fan of Cotto , i have to admit it , that we have to take head off on this fight , Pacquiao was awesome in this fight , so no excuses and GOOD LUCK for Pacman in the next steps .........

i think he can demonstrate a better fight with PBF ...............

I was backing Cotto in this fight, but Pac was awesome. I thought the fight should have been stopped earlier, but to me it was all over after the 2nd KD, Cotto looked like he had nothing after that and spent the rest of the fight on the back foot. Hopefully now we can look forward to Pac-Mayweather next year!

Cotto was brave, but Pac was from a different planet. His handspeed has lost nothing on the way up and it's his ability to throw punches in combinations that has his opponents not knowing how to defend or even counter effectively. It's just too fast to deal with effectively. That's 3 in a row with DLH, Hatton and now most impressively, Cotto.

I don't think Cotto fought the best fight he could have, the knockdowns for me took away any semblance of an effective gameplan which was already falling apart under the onslaught of the second. Once you have been stunned twice and are falling behind on the cards things do become a bit desperate. Cotto dug deep and hung in there, but it could have been stopped a little sooner as it was survival more than anything else.

That's no real criticism of Cotto though, this is becoming a bit of a habit for Manny and is a reflection of just how effective he has turned out to be.

Manny is awsome Cotto was my pick but manny's work rate and power sealed it.

I called Manny for the knockout but I still felt bad for Cotto. It was kinda sad seeing his wife and son seeing their dad get beat up! Cotto showed class act after the fight, he's such a nice guy I hope he can bounce back to the top.
