    It was a complete dismantling.

Cotto came out doing what he had to do, bringing the fight to Pac and closing the gap and getting on him early, only to get quickly figured out.

He tried to go south paw, that went terribly wrong fast. Wrong man to exchange hard straight lefts with. Back to ortho Cotto goes, and the breakdown continued. Pac coming in at all angles, throwing from often awkward angles, but landing, combo upon combo.

The knock downs were hard, and foreshadowed the end. But the end took a long time getting there for Miguel Cotto.

At times as the fight wore on, and the dismantling continued, Pac went into cruise control, comfortably, the smaller man walking his opponent down and exploiting anything and everything. As much as it looked Pac could end it any time if he wanted as the fight went on, and the damage grew, the more you knew the fight had to end soon...for Cotto simply had no answer. And there was much damage.

Pac is a special fighter. There really is no more question about it, in regards to him belonging at which weight, or his name in what place in history. He made history tonight. He should surely have quieted any last remaining doubters.

I wanted Cotto win. I have rooted for him for a long time. I have also rooted for Pac. It was a hard fight to watch. But it was also boxing at its finest.

That was greatness we watched tonight. And Pac's place in history I believe is now secure. His name belongs among the greatest. And he's still fighting. He can can only do more. We all know what that is. Let's hope it happens.

Great heart Cotto, you are a warrior and gave us all you had. Great fight Pac, you showed us what you are made of also. And a great night for boxing not soon to be forgotten.

well, Pac-Mayweather has to rank up there with all those great anticipated matches in boxing history between fighters in their red-hot prime. trinidad-delahoya was probably the most erecent one of equal anticipation

    it'll happen. $$ talks.

Standing "O" to Cotto. Congratulated Pacquaio and Roach on the fight, and offered no excuses.

Cotto is a true sportsman and a gentlemen and a proven heart. 100% a class act.

Oh my God !!! Pacquiao going toe to toe with Cotto and overpowering him, I never believed this could be possible.
I picked Cotto to win this but I always admitted that Pac could outspeed or/and outwork him, but I never thought Many can take Cotto’s best shots.
I still think Floyd would beat Pac if the fight would ever happen but I could easily be wrong like I was yesterday.

The Pac's last 3 fights I've thought he would struggle, only to be proven very wrong.

My head says Mayweather would be too elusive and good behind the jab, but my heart says Pacman would open him up. Even if it went the distance, you can't see Floyd winning on points as he would have defended the whole time.

Fair play to Cotto, gave it his all. Had he not got carried away in the 4th when he was on top the whole round he may have had a slim chance, but the best guy won. I think Cotto would have destroyed Hatton as similar as Manny did.

I for one now truely see Manny as PFP king, without doubt.
