you should never bet against neither of these fighters. but if i had to choose right now i say Pac and im a floyd fan.

Mayweather would probably win.
He is a bad style matchup for Pacquiao.
I'm never counting Pacquiao out again though, He can win.
Floyd Mayweather Jr, Manny Pacquiao is great. But still the new and improved Manny Pacquiao, still went life and death with JMM. And Floyd Mayweather Jr is pretty much better than JMM in most departments, so Floyd Mayweather Jr by close decision.
In his last few fights, Pacquiao surpassed expectations a million times. I'm leaning towards him against Mayweather.
Pacquiao by TKO. He is unpredictable and his punches comes to any angle. I don't know if Mayweather can stand Pacquiao barrage punches. Pacquiao has high KO rate 69.09%
If Mayweather keeps running and don't trade punches. Mayweather by SD
Very close to call. Anything can happen.

If floyd keeps manny away from him, floyd wins easy..if he sits in the shell manny's activity and volume will break him down.

my heart says PACMAN as he is everything a good role model should be , my head says its a bad clash of styles for him.

Yes. Not much. But base on quality opponents Pacquiao KO is better than Mayweather.
In Last 10 fights.
Pacquiao was 10-0 (7KO)
Miguel Angel Cotto
Ricky Hatton
Oscar De La Hoya
David Diaz
Jorge Solis
Erik Morales (2x)
Mayweather was 10-0 (5KO)
Ricky Hatton
Sharmba Mitchell
Arturo Gatti
Henry Bruseles
Phillip N'dou
I don't think Mayweather can knock Pacquiao. I'm 100% sure. The only way Mayweather can win is by running all the time.
Pacquiao he can finish Mayweather Jr. if he hit him with his weird barrage angle shot. I'm sure he can drop bombs to Mayweather Jr. . If Zub Judah can... Pacquiao can do it too. Pacquiao is better than Zab.
I hope Mayweather run and use the ring to win. There is no way Mayweather will trade punches against the Pacman. Pacquiao can take punches.
Floyd hasn't fought a true welterweight since Baldomir over 3 years ago.

In reality it's a toss up, but I'll stand behind our PACMAN. If Manny took Miguel's powershots well I'm pretty sure PBF's won't be a problem. If Manny can find GAPS in PBF's defense Manny has the SPEED to exploit them and POWER to do damage.

The version of a flabby JMM that fought Floyd will be murdered by Pac in 2 if they fight at 140 or 147 today, imo. Floyd made JMM up by 15 lbs then cheat him on the scale winning by a mere decisions.
Pac fights JMM at his best weights. On their rematch Pac reportedly on the verge of not making the 130 lbs thus the lucklaster performance though still manage to reconfigure JMM's face (while pretty clean after Floyd fights) and put him on his pants. I guess its the reason why pac jumps on higher weights right after the JMM rematch.
The new and improved Manny Pacquiao began after the JMM rematch not before. I dont think Floyd can apply his coward fighting style with pac. pac by ko, less than 6.

you're retarded if you couldn't clearly see that Floyd could have had Marquez out of there by the 5th if he wanted to, he already seriously rocked and hurt Marquez when he dropped him in the 2nd, thing is Floyd took his foot off the gas right after, he pulled a Roy Jones (the Felix Trinidad fight, Tito was done by the 6th), it is very well known that Mayweather is a safety first fighter, and theres no doubt in my mind that he only let Marquez go the distance because he wanted to get rounds in due to the long layoff, IMO Pacquaio still made obvious mistakes against Cotto, and he'll pay dearly against Mayweather, Floyd by UD
I agree. There seem to be a lot of people who now believe that Pacquiao is some sort of unbeatable superhero and Mayweather is not fit to lace his boots - a complete role reversal from a few months ago and largely thanks to the many Pac "superfans" that post on this board (I'm looking at you fanjohn amongst others).
Pac is a very good boxer, no question but IMO there are going to be a lot of red faces admitting that they got wrapped up in all the hype when this is all over...
Floyd by comfortable stoppage for me.
