I don't care how noble you may think someone is, another 30-40 million is enough to get anyone to train for 6 months and fight.
That's 1.4 Billion Pesos, that money could go a long way in fixing the infrastructure of the Phillipines.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

That might build a bridge over a small river. But yea in the Philippines using the real cost you might get 50 miles of a two lane road. Corruption cost, you might get 10 miles.
I agree the smart thing would be to meet and work out a deal. $30 million is a lot of f*n money.

It's only greed (concerning both sides) that is stopping it from happening.
Earlier in the year it was Mayweather who was demanding too much in the form of a 60/40 split. Now Pacquiao's camp is not only expecting the 60/40, but also wanting a ridiculous catch weight (again).
If I were Manny or Floyd I would push for the fight be at 146 with 50/50 split or winner-take-all... but alas, I'm just a fan who wants the corruption and politics in boxing to dissipate.. (I don't think that'll happen any time soon)
