From someone who used to hate Floyd, I have to say, I'm starting to see why he's so cynical of the sport of boxing. He came up by being a truly superb technical fighter. Manny has just been given every concession. Come on, winning titles at catch weights? Diamond belt? wtf is happening to boxing?

Floyd is a GREAT technical boxer, and I truly respect his skills. However, there is no denying that he's brought a lot of this on himself with his "douche baggery".

There is no denying he has been quite an ass in the past. If it were a Miss America Pageant then maybe his social graces would bother me.. but this is boxing. Also, dare I say it, but he's grown up a lot over the past few years. He's just a realist now. Is there any way Pac could beat him at 147? No, I don't think so. Will his skills ever earn him the respect he deserves in the sport? Probably not.

I think there's only one way that MP can beat PBF, and that's if PBF squares up and trades with him for long periods of time. That's not gonna happen.

I'm a Pac fan, but I'm also realistic. Right now, I see this fight as PBF on points. There's no way in hell he's gonna let it become a slugfest.

I agree with that completely. 12 rounds of smart boxing for Floyd and he's got it in the bag.
If Manny gets frustrated, desperate and reckless I could even see the bigger Floyd knocking him out late (not likely but a possibility).

My boggle with Floyd's statement is that he criticized Manny, "When they ask Pacquiao about who he wants to fight next he says 'I'll let my promoter choose'." But then when Kellerman asked Mayweather the same question Mayweather said the same EXACT thing about Haymon and Ellerbe.
