A few years back I was doing my usual sunday powerwalk with my headphones on, it's fairly rural and I've lived here for years....anyway I'm marching down the lane and turn to come back up a path and head for home. Two rough arse looking young fellas sitting in a car, windows down having a smoke. As it happens I'd just turned off the track I was listening to as I walked past. As I hear one say to the other, 'see hear, can't hear a thing, we could walk right up behind her and..'

to which I spun round and replied in my most ladylike tone, 'no you fucking couldn't' glared and marched off quickly headphones off.

I'm not saying anything could or would have happened but it does make you consider your situation more closely.

Not to marginalize, this stuff does happen, everywhere and always has and it's terrible. Has happened to a friend of mine just last year, well something similar. Difference now with technology, the scuzbags can't help but get a video keepsake so proudly of the act, to which they completely seal their fate and prove their guilt. Add to that all other forms of technology that often catch this kinda things guilt, all the cameras out there now running, and you come to realize big brother ain't always so bad.
