Of course in a boxing match, but if it was a real fighter. Ali, stand no chance in hell. Can ali admit that since he is still alive shaking with his diesease he got from taking so many punches to his head.

i think he has parkinsons or something
Yeah, and of course he naturally got it... It didn't happen from all the punches he took from big guys like george foreman. MWAHAHAHA... LoL
He actually did get it from repeated blows to the head. There are at least two types of Parkinsons. One occurs and one is inflicted.

Ali's was inflicted. I'd elaborate if I could be bothered to google the condition.

Because NO boxer could ever beat a martial artist, unless that martial artist hasn't been training for years like bruce lee. Bruce lee was training in martial arts way before most of these boxers ever started fighting. Like They probably were boxing when they were like 12 years old, while bruce lee has been doing martial arts probably since his was about 5. I can't believe how many idiots say UFC Fighters/boxers can beat martial artists. First off these boxers may throw fast punches, but compared to a martial artist, they are slow. And most boxers already know that, boxers aren't stupid.
You must be one of them dudes who got picked on in school and had there lunch money taken from them, and fed up one day, you went around to the avenue to sign up for KARATE lessons, and become a killer

Bilbo got it spot on... troll post if ever I have seen one.. designed to cause an argument between boxing and MMa fans no doubt...

The culture that surrounds boxing attracts tougher, natural fighters and the brutality of the sport and toughness of the training weed out fakers in the clubs... Boxers always train under the situation boxing is usefull in: A real fight... boxers are used to having some one attack them and using their skill under this stress... most martial artists aren't.

No disciplines develop more force in punching then boxing, no other combat sports have as well conditioned athletes... even in UFC all I mainly just see bloated creatine over users full up with water...

What bull's saying is sort of where I am coming from... you walk into some martial arts club held in a church hall some place... and get the most decorated guy in there black belt triple dan what ever...

my money is on any compitent boxer giving him a pasting... Not all Martial artists are wimps but Karate doesn't attract fighters like Martial arts do... martial arts are satuarated with people who have seen to many bruce lee films and like pretending to be fighters and bullying victims forced there by their parents, usually with no fighters heart.

The karate club near me sends lads who are being bullied to the nearest boxing club...

    Well,

Someone brings up the Martial Arts issue....

For one thing, Martial Artist are good at what they train for....

Put them into a Boxing Ring with a guy trained to take your fricken head off and the Martial Artist will lose...

I know street Fighters that have made lunch meat out of Martial Artist....Add some boxing skill to the street fighter and you have No Holds Barred, add some Martial Arts to that and you have a UFC Champ!!

    .......

come on man that is an ignorant inflammatory statement and I know you know better than that. I've trained in both boxing and MMA gyms and can assure you that a dedicated MMA and Boxer are equal in conditioning. Is it a little different in style and what you need in their respective fights? Sure. But to say that top MMA fighters aren't as well conditioned is absurd.

    I doubt it.

Every UFC fight I've seen the fighters who try and kick end up slipping over and being murdered on the floor.

There is a reason that Chuck Lydell is number 1 and it has something to do with the fact that he boxes, rather than tryie fancy kicks I think

bruce lee said himself that he dosent belive in using high risk moves in a real fight, only simple stuff that would get the job done.

and if you think chuck liddel throws punches like a boxer your wrong, hes got the slopest hooks, but they get the job done.

I used to think that bruce lee would be able to beat ali but then i realised that ali was more than 200lbs and quick, lee only weighed about 120 or something, he would get killed if he was to get hit. An other thing Ali fought champions and well know fighters, who did lee beat that was a world known fighter? Dont get me wrong i think bruce lee would be pretty good in Pridefc, but then agian he only fought in movies so i think we will never know how good he was agianst an other great fighter.

HAHAHAHA, you think bruce lee was only an actor. He's one of the greatest martial artists ever to live. Omg, you think all those things you see he does in the movies are done with cgi or something? You're a funny man. Bruce lee could have killed ali/tyson without even trying to, bruce lee could fight 30 other martial artists and still won. You guys so underestimate bruce lee... Maybe you're all racist and don't like that small asian guys can kill big white and black guys without even trying. Ali and tyson do stand a chance, if they had a gun on them... mwhahahahaha

I want to know what saddo has to say about this, I bet you he'd agree that a professional boxer can't beat a martial artist. I've never even seen tyson/ali throw there legs up in the air like a martial artist. And most of you probably don't even realize the fact that your legs are more powerful than you arms once you train them right. You're lower body is the most important thing as a fighter no matter if you're a boxer/martial artist. But for some reason I have never seen a boxer throw there legs up in the air, unless its a kick boxer.

If it were boxing rules, then of course Bruce Lee would lose. If it were a street fight, with take downs and submissions, then i think Bruce Lee has a chance to win.

lol people that say that boxers/UFc fighters can't beat martial arts artiste have no idea about fighting at all. i have done karate for 9 years but then i realised that that sport was just bull shit. we learned things that you didn't need in real life then i went and did boxing, freefight and thai box , yeah in those sports you don't learn cool tricks like in kun fu ,taek wando, ...
but you only learn things you need in real fights. you look at bruce lee , chackie chan doing all this cool tricks and think they are undefeatable, but those things are just dancin tricks nothing to do with real fighting. Watch a martial artist fighting a ufc fight , you will see that he doesn't do all those tricks that he learns because they are just not effective in a real fight.
Look at bruce lee his face and then look at the face of a boxer or a ufc fighter. you can see clearly that bruce lee hasn't fought a real full contact fight in his life.

This is more of the apples vs. oranges debate. It all depends what discipline the combatants are fighting under. Boxer vs. martial artist under boxing rules, the boxer will win. If you allow kicks, knees, elbows, chokes, takedowns, etc. the martial artist will win. Bruce Lee was way ahead of his time when it came to the martial arts. It's unfortunate he didn't live longer so we could see what he really could have accomplished in his life.

your obviously smoking crack......UFC and Boxers live in reality and are conditioned to fight in the real world....Martial artists live in a fantasy world (which is easy to prove seeing as how you think a 140lb man could beat Ali in anything but running away) of high kicks and delusions of grandeur....

ok...I will run with this....Ali suffers because he got hit...right...Bruce Lee was never against World Competition..so he never got hit...Because he was a product of hype not Hustle...Look at fighters/UFC and check out their training/conditioning programs....Martial artists have relatively no stamina or honest athletic ability......they get into martial arts because they couldn't cut it in real physical sports...basically....unless your fighting in world championships in martial arts your just a b*tch.....lower level martial artists(4th degree black belts and under) couldn't fight their way out of wet paper bags....
