It's not an act


Besides it keeps guys on their toes, they think they have the upper hand being all manly and wise (ahem) and then you just throw some random factoid in that they're not expecting.

This has the double effect of making them think you're not as shallow as a puddle and there may be more to come.
Also it gets the guy thinking about you. Of course play it wrong and he thinks you're a nut.
