I watched 101 dalmations last night and I really liked it. That live action one was really awful and I was forced to see it as a kid, but watching the animation one was fun. Much better and quite creepy in places too.

The first one is a classic the fisherman in it, is a legendary character. And he deserved the Oscar for best supporting actor IMO, the 2nd one is ok. The 3rd one is pretty bad but i can just about watch it because of the 3D, and the 4th one which i see for the first time earlier this year. Is one of the worst films i've ever seen avoid that if your a Jaws fan. Even Michael Caine who im a big fan of couldn't save that big pile of shit.
2012. totally blew donkey balls. It could have been so much better but was a giant-sized hollywood sell out in the name of cheesy action. Can only watch the same people drive a Car, limo, RV, Plane etc off the crumbling Earth's crust nippling at their wheels with buildings falling and bridges tumbling before you find yourself standing up saying.."CMON, enough already with this shit."
You just wanted them to die you sadist![]()

I liked 2012, just cuz I like big assed silly special effects. Script/story/science was poor and predictable but I like my bullshit films.
This is a fair enough point. And about the only argueable point to this movie being ok. I like them too, but was so disappointed to see it here.
I think this is the first time ever I actually got angry about a movie being bad. I actually did stand up in the theater and yell at the screen. "CMON! stop it, stop stop stop!" lol Someone told me to sit down and shut up and I was about ready to try and explain why I was upset, or go to blows, only to be culled back into my seat by the embarrassed girl I was there with at the time. hahaha
The reason largely because I love the concept and the science surrounding the whole idea and so seriously wanted that explored better. The mythology etc. So the lack of that coupled with the poor writing and plot and overall cheesiness on such a great potential story line did something to me I never thought would happen. I turned into that guy I hate so much in movies, the one predicting every next move, right down to the chic giving the finger to her boss, time and time again. "Watch, here comes the finger!" LOL
chuck and larry....
very rarely in my life do i turn a film off 20mins in
awful...awful recycled family material, the day sandler hangs up his acting shoes millions of people around the world will rejoyce!
one dangerous horrible bloke
Just got done watching National Lampoons vacation and the Road Warrior ah those 80's classics that will never die.
my daughters much prefer the old animation films to all this cgi crap
there is a new disney one coming out called the princess & the frog with disneys first ever black lead, it looks good & i cant wit to take my daughters to watch it, was due to be released in december but has been put back until feb which is a bit of a bummer
Say what you will about Disney, but back in the day they OWNED animated movies and even to this day they are classics. The majority of CGI movies are just God awful, not only are they just bad they are poorly written. I think the Disney movies stand up because they are great animated features but because they have good stories.
I know I'll catch hell for saying all that but I have a 2 year old niece and whenever I keep her I always want to have something (that I can stand) handy to keep her attention for a while....the muppets and old school Sesame Street are also good
well said lyle
disney rocks![]()
Well I finally got that Tyson documentary that Yvonne said was really good. I'm going to watch it tonight or tomorrow probably be tomorrow since the Bute/Andrade fight is on. I'll post back on what I think.
I went to the local cinema with my lady friend last night and we watched that Christmas Carol movie.Jim Carry plays Scrooge and it was in 3D.It was worth a watch, but you cant beat the real old films based on Scrooge.I'd give it a 7 out of 10 though, its worth a watch!
