    Turkey is dry but put loads of gravy on it. Never eat veg.

    Turkey is only dry when it's cooked wrong....use a browning bag or fry it. Turkey is great stuff!

    Speaking of Christmas, whatever happened to the traditional English Christmas goose Also are there any other traditional English Christmas foods you guys can tell me about? I may have to do some cooking soon

    My mom always cooked a decent turkey (I've had bad ones elsewhere) but I still wouldn't say the breast meat of turkey is exactly juicy and flavorful. Its like chicken but not as good. Granted I've never had a fried one. The thigh meat and the wings are pretty good though and the breast meat isn't bad for sandwiches.

    I am sure in the 19th Century Goose was a tradition not now.
