Lyle and Master you need a decent striker if you have any money id get Carlton Cole he is now matured into a great striker playing amazing for West Ham and they are struggling, him and Torres would be nice partnership.

I agree, but hell it's hard to find someone to pair with Torres. Keane did horrible(when he got the chances), David Villa totally negated anything Torres could do when they played with Spain...so far I think Peter Crouch was the best pairing with Torres maybe Kuyt but he's had some rough moments too.
Carlton Cole donkey?? Sorry mate you couldnt be more wrong great player showed his class for Engladn against Holland talking of donkeys lets hope Capello doesnt take the original Donkey Emile Heskey ahead of him to the world cup.
Id have him at United the problem is we have three decent strikers you have one, I dont think you can be calling anyone donkeys when your backup is Ngog and Voronin.
Henry would be a great fit for Liverpool, Heskey might not be so bad (as a backup), but I think Cole might fit in well.
I see-saw back and forth on what should the club do with Rafa but right now I'm of the opinion he should be sacked and quickly. He's done nothing but tinker this season and last and if that's the way it's going to be then he needs to go, we've had NO consistency....granted if he is sacked we may lose Torres and maybe some others (which wouldn't have been a problem had we kept Keane), but he's got to go! If 1 player gets hurt Liverpool lines up with a totally different side and that shouldn't happen we should have 1 maybe 2 formations and players that fit roles for both formations...with Rafa if 1 regular starter is off then you might see a formation they have never played in ever before.
We should have a 442 played with LM, CM, CM, RM or LM, CAM, CDM, RM and that should basically be enough but with Rafa we may as well be playing free form

Can't believe i was tipping Liverpool and Arsenal for a 1-2 finish before the start of this season.
I have to disagree there mate, Bent has always been a great goalscorer he had the best strike rate of any of the strikers at Spurs and was bought by Spurs for 15 million when he was on fire for Charlton and prior to that Ipswich, Bent hasnt improved that much if you ask me.
Cole is a good shout by ono, he was touted as a great player whrn breaking through at Chelsea didnt make the greade was loaned out to numerous clubs including Villa and Charlton and again didnt really do much, now he is finally showing what a class act he was as a kid and for me I think along with Flectcher at United is the most improved player in the league.
I am worried big time for Liverpool in the middle range, at the moment, I feel like it's not another striker they need but a good middle recuperating and some chemistry, feed your attack and they will produce, once you have a good player like that, then you can think about a good complementary striker.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Lyle Rafa loves being defensive, 5 man midfield is his best option with a fit Gerrard supporting Torres. That is his nature. If Klinsmann came in as manager it would be the reverse, all out attack.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I would like Klinnsman for Liverpool and for the US National side! Although both are unlikely.
Why be defensive with Gerrard and Torres?!?!?! What a waste!

Yes, but if you're starting Aquilani, Mascherano, and Lucas then where does Benayoun fit in on the pitch?
