I believe Pac is a fighter capable of something special, but I just believe Mayweather who is a fighter who has special covered and I don't think we've seen him ever pushed to and past his limit,,, that's saying something for what he's bringing into a fight with Pac.. It is a giant mountain for Pac to climb that no one has even seen the top of yet..

I agree though that Pac ain't climbing to the top of this mountain! I'm in 2 minds, I think Mayweather makes it look easy but I can also see Pacquiao defying the odds & giving Pretty Boy fits throughout. I hope Pac makes Mayweather fight & we get an entertaining night & not a stinker!

Its such a hard match up to call but I always say a boxer beats a fighter so I reluctently voted for Mayweather.

But then Pacquiao will have to hope on Mayweather being injured like in that first Castillo fight.

But I agree with the rest of your post. Although i'm pretty sure it won't be like a typical Pacquiao fight. Mayweather dictates the pace of his fights and this should be no difference. Pacquiao is not the ring general Mayweather is.

That's true.. I was actually one of the few who is really convinced Castillo could have reasonably, if not, certainly been given that fight..

But I think Floyd has even gone to another level since then, and i'm not sure whether he had some injury/fitness worries for that fight, but I certainly aint making excuses for Floyd, i'll give you that one.. If Mayweather wasn't the hottest property since sliced bread and a big zero on his record would be a driving force for boxing making millions on the back of him, then he'd probably have lost that fight..

But I think a performance to beat Floyd these days will have to be something more than that Castillo fight..


That is why I would so love to see Pac beat him.. Not really because I want to see Floyd beaten, but if you'd just seen Floyd get beaten, you've probably just seen up to 12 rounds of the most fantastic boxing the sport has can dish up... Someone beating Floyd in any manner will be a hell of a spectacle in my opinion.. It will have to be a completely masterful performance..
