I don't even care if they each take a tune up as long as the fight is reasonably sure to go ahead after. I don't even care who they'd fight, as long as its not Matthew Hatton. It most likely is just posturing though.
LOL at Hopkins volunteering that it might be Mosley for Floyd. OK.
I'm not going to blame Pac for this. I think Pac would fight anyone in reason at their respective weight. Roach is behind all these shenanigans. He is taking the luster off achievements by way of tactics. Yuri Foreman? Cotto was too big to go up to 147 but an easy title in Yuri Foreman is small enough to go up to junior middleweight forI hope this plan backfires and Foreman beats Pac.
i think pacquiao is taking yuri foreman a little lightly here because foreman has got mad skills, is very fast for a big man and has great movement as well. if pacquiao were to beat him it would be incredible but i don't know if he is going to be able to beat a boxer like foreman who moves like he does, counterpunches, has a very fast jab and naturally outweighs him by a ton. let's not forget yuri is like 5'11", has a longer reach and is young and hungry. i don't think pacquiao is going to be able to outbox him because foreman is a pure boxer and we all know pacquiao has trouble with pure boxers who have good counterpunching skills.
not to mention that pacquiao is probably going to take yuri foreman a little lightly after such a great win over cotto!
Where would it be fought? Manila, Tel Aviv, Dubaie?![]()

i just saw a video of freddie roach talking about mayweather jr. and possible other opponents for pacquiao. he was asked by the interviewer that if the mayweather jr. fight doesn't happen could pacquiao fight yuri foreman next and roach said NO. i think he realizes this might be a bad matchup style-wise for pacquiao and also the fact that pacquiao is running for another run of congress in the philippines.
