The judges know who pays their hotel bills and gets them more gigs. It's the sanctioning associations who are in cahoots with pay tv operators and promoters. Boxing judging at this level is a junket. At the very least there is a subconcious motivation to serve your master. I think that this, coupled with a pro-Taylor crowd and an inability of the old men to distinguish between scoring and non-scoring punches, was most likely the case in this fight. At worst, there is direct interference.

In competitive fights, anything close to a tie pays the dealer. Taylor's HBO's middleweight franchise, HBO is the dealer.
