Thank you for joining my thread, Bruce. I just knew you would pick up on my earring comment. I drew you in with a single camp expression and you just could not resist.

Apparently the price of gold has plummeted in response to the Strengthening of the U.S Dollar.....BBC news said so.

I guess i missed that one. People were investing in gold instead of money

Yeah, a bit of a dip just recently. It's hard to tell if it is just a blip or not though. All the sensible people would have got into gold a long time ago now. My latest venture is to look into private pensions, I'm sure a week later we are going to hear of millions of pensions lost in some scheme or other. All I want is a little security for when I get old, it all seems so complicated.

What about art Miles? Its on a running scale and is affordable to most. pick a well known artist whos alive still, but not looking to hot or is in his sixties or seventies depending on how long you wish to invest for, wait for him to pass , up goes your stock. New street artists are in the big $, some of them live on the edge.

Forget about art, you're best bet is long life canned food.

Once armageddon starts and you're the only person who can eat people will give up whatever they have for your precious baked beans and corned beef.

Oh and guns too, you'll need them unless you want them to take everything for free.
