On the rare occasions I'm fortunate enough to see Canelo one word sticks....strong! His stance,his delivery,his finishing righthand,an over all look really.Very dedicated kid.He is young but even in the highlights was way oversold on wide shots.Hate to see young diamonds in the rough brought along slowly against one too many "supposed to beats" and getting a bad suprise.I think they should roll the dice on his obvious progression...for lack of a better term pizz or get off the pot....I think hes as ready as he's going to get facing the Tyners of the world.Movers with quick straight hands might cause him some grief now...but they better bring a sturdy rib cage.

Soto-Karass would be a helluva fight.Think he got screwed over royally last outing against an opted out Gomez after starting slow but he was getting caught abit,but reach,experience and grit could tell alot about Canelo...Shamone is smooth and capable but just dont see him dealing with Canelos strength as it goes...Castillo,nah...good name but shot to bits,Lujan would be fun and no push over.Alvarez needs to have an acid test vs a live body-threat before he gets complacent and maxes out feeding on Tyner types.

Jose Luis Castillo has been really busy this year... I been watching him whoop ass in tecate cards. Ofcourse against nobodys but still 4 fights 4 wins by ko's in 2009 only is impressive.. plus he still has 1 fight before the year ends in the 19. Wow castillo 5 fights in 2009... and we dont hear about him.. how the mighty have fallen.. to think this guy had a controversial loss against mayweather that resulted in a rematch and fought in epic battles against corrales.. its a shame, i almost forget that hatton knocked him out and thus he should retire..... wow that was quite the rant im done
