Agree with almost everything except prime Roy isn't knocking Taylor out. He almost never engaged guys who could punch whom he could clearly outbox. He would have been content to beat him 12-0.
But Jones also made people pay for their weaknesses and openings, and Jermains lack of balance and uncomfortableness inside of his jab and how easily he;'s backed to the ropes Roy may very well have stopped him since jermain would get hit a lot!
Roy likes to fight in the center of the ring, not on the ropes. The only time he would go to the ropes was when he himself voluntarily backed himself into the ropes to fight off of them. And Roy was so fast he seldom had to throw the jab. He's one of the few fighters to lead with whatever punch he wanted. The only reason Winky backed him up was because he fights flat footed and has a great jab that he uses all the time. Roy would dance on Taylor and pick Taylor apart in the middle of the ring for 12.
