Danny Green is very likely Hopkins next fight

I'd be surprised if Hopkins went over to Aus for this fight. Didn't he say that the Jones fight was stopped to early which was why he never went to Europe Maybe someone just told him Aus wasn't Europe.

Good fight im glad its happening, i like many others didn't think Bernard Hopkins looked that good in his last fight. But again he probably struggled to get motivated because it was for peanuts and it was against a nobody.

Unless Bernard Hopkins becomes old over night, he should give Danny Green a boxing lesson. Much like Anthony Mundine did to Danny Green. I think Danny Green is a good fighter but again, i question whether he really is world class.

He's got some pop and is a good come forward fighter, but i just see a good boxer making him look pretty mediocre and as i said much like Anthony Mundine did.

But its still a good fight and anything can happen in boxing, and it truly would be a cinderella story for Danny Green if he pulled it off.

Would be a good fight and he would give Hopkins probs at times I am sure but I hope they do not think they will come into the fight and do to Bernard what Danny managed to do to Jones...

I am not saying that to down grade Green or his win over Jones but guys and their teams tend to over rate wins like that...I mean you never know he could beat Hopkins but certainly in that fashion

Hey...why not?At this point Hopkins lucrative options are minimal though I would like him to face Dawson.Dawson needs him,not the other way around and Dawsons marketability struggles.Hop-kins should forget all of that nonsence about still facing Jones jr...but money talks and IF Roy bounces back and dispatches some part time janitor,who knows.

Green has earned a biggie and put a stamp on the end of one of the larger known fighters in the last couple of decades with Jones.Hes very strong and no doubt would put the pressure on Hopkins.Hopkins looked fine last outing but took awhile to warm.He was clipped more cleanly early on than I can remember seeing him hit in many years.

Hopkins should win a UD, Hopkins has only ever been knocked down once by Mercado in Ecuador. It will be interesting to see how Hopkins handles the Green punching power if this fight does indeed take place. Hopkins is a boxing freak, a tremendous athlete who defies all that is logical in the sport with his age and ability to keep winning.
