    For safety they should bring back same day weighins. Thats the problem at the moment fighters weighing in the day before, dehydrating dangerously to make false weights. Most not being able to hydrate properly, extreme dehydration and it takes the body 4 days to properly hydrate its dangerous in the extreme. The governing bodies should act.

    I totally agree that the day before weigh in has been reduced to a joke. Originally it was meant to allow guys to shed a reasonable amount of weight, like one to three pounds and then be able to rehydrate with reasonable safety. The way guys have done it instead is guys who should be fighting at 160 are boiling down to 147 then showing up in the ring weighing 162. Fucking ridiculous.
