how about 13. it's an extra 3 minutes of fighting but 6 minutes less dangerous than 15, and it's an odd number.

It's three more rounds, refs are much quicker to stop fights these days so why not? 15 rounds is perfect for modern day boxing if you ask me, too many fights end with both guys still having enough in the tank to go at it for another three.
Just think about all the best fights you ever saw that went the distance, you wanted more everytime.

Have never really been in favor of this return.Concerning the added rounds and risks,I think fighters would adjust & change pace according to given rounds.I have always wondered about the time line for the networks also...takes a full hour to air 15 rounders meaning no more 4 round over hyped prospect blow out fights![]()
15 Absolute Nonsense... not in the fighters best interest
I am intrigued by the idea of 10 rounders whihc would be in my opinion beneficial to boxing as they would shorten down the feeling out period and also increase career longevity
About Rehydration of fluid around the brain the answer is simple weigh them the morning of (for cancellations sakes) and give them 5 lbs wiggle room that would force everyone to fight at close to their natural weight
