It's a slow, deliberate process... this PPV scam. Slowly but surely, they continue lowering the bar on the fights that are PPV. Most people start off saying, quite correctly, "I wouldn't pay to watch that sh*t". But eventually, they wear the consumers down, to where it's commonplace to pay for the mundane, crappy fight. When in the past did people imagine they'd have to pay to take a dump in a pay toilet?

Look, I'm not saying that Pavlik wasn't hurt, didn't get an infection or have a reaction to the antibiotics but what I'm saying is... Pavlik was too injured to take on an elite fighter but will fight a mandatory(regardless of the caliber) to keep his garbage belts. This is what's wrong with the sport... I truely think that all those things happened to Kelly but it would have done the sport well to have him relinquished the belts to get 100% so he could fight a live body. Espino might last 6 rounds if Kelly is at 85%...

Instead, we're all gonna have to wait another 8 to 10 months to see Kelly in the ring with someone of any merit.
