It was a great episode for sure.

Firstly, whoever killed Rita had to know about Dexter's childhood, as he spared his son, but placed him in a pool of Rita's blood.

Did Trinity know this? It's possible I guess as he broke into Debrah's house and she had all the files on her father but I though Dexter had shredded the details of his mother, so they wern't there?

Could it have been Dexter himself who killed her, in a Secret Window type way where he doesn't even know himself?

I don't think it was Quinn, the next door neighbour, but again he wouldn't know Dexter's orgin story........


Wonder what will happen next series, will Dexter be accused of the murder himself? Will he go on the run?

Also, bullshit moment when Deb finds Dexter in the garage at Trinty's house - she's way too good a detective to be falling for that bullshit... he beats the fucking SWAT team in there? Nein, mein schwester...

And yes, poor fucking Rita. She was Dex's anchor? What the fuck happens now? Dexter Morgan as Mr mom?? Cody and Astor? And with Rita gone, Dexter (the show) loses 50 per cent of its wank material. Deb has never really done it for me, Quinn's missus was a hotty but blew her head off, that leaves me with LaGuerta... mmmmmm LaGuerta...

I honestly couldn't stand Rita they turned her into a wining little stepford wife to me. I actually liked her better in the early seasons when she was just the girlfriend who was getting beat up by her ex husband.

I'm really curious to see where there take it next season theres a few different possibilities. I could see Deb really starting to poke her nose into Dexters night life and that might cause problems. Is Dexter going to have all three children now or is Ritas kids going to go live with there grandparents and Dex will only have his son or what will they do.

The dew was definitely off the lilly for me so far as Rita was concerned. It seems like they had nothing for her to do but annoy Dexter. How many times did she call him at work for crap she should have been taking care of WHILE SHE WAS ALREADY AT HOME?
