The sad thing about the Heavies is that these two are still the biggest names in the Division.

They'd sell more PPV than any other 2 fighters.

Haye and the Klits simply haven't got the fan base and these two are known world wide.

If anyone could pull him out of retirement it would be Don King. He holds the promotional rights for Tyson Holy 3 and thats why the fight never came off when Tyson was still active towards the end of his career.
King yanked Larry Holmes off the road of his touring band to get him to fight Tyson on three months notice, so Im sure King could get Tyson to comeback if he offers him enough cash.
Its like saying you wouldnt tune in to see Roy Jones fight Bernard Hopkins. Cmon, everyone would. They're both old and both legends, so anything could happen, but as someone said, Tyson doesnt seem to have any interest in fighting so if he shows up to act as a punching bag for Holyfield that would be sad.

I saw the mug shot from the photgrapher he hit and he isnt as out of sape as he looks, hes only about a stone heavier than his last fight, it said he was 240 somethig pounds, it also said he was 5,9"

Edit, for anyone who didnt realise, I mean6 the actual police photo of Mike taken at the station after being arrested for the LAX photographer incident a few weeks ago, the police weighed him at 240 something and had him as 5,9"

I dont think it would take much to get him fit to fight, hes always trained well and lost weight quick, when motivated. He just wouldnt want to put the effort in now, he hasnt for years. hed need a fuucking good reason now, more than money.

I would and I wouldn't want to see this fight. In order for it to look anything like a competitive fight Mike would have to come off his meds. Mike seems like he's a very nice guy now and I think he's afraid of going back to what he was without the meds. I think he was on them for his fight with Lewis and was only able to mount enough aggression for one round and just got battered the rest of the fight. Only one person knew how to keep Mike in line and he's loooooong gone.

If someone could drag Mike away and get him back to the catskills as cheesy as it sounds, if he were to talk to Kevin and Steve again, I think if any comeback were to happen this is the only way it could with any success, Mike just doesnt and never has had the respect for any other trainer, even Roach got fuucked around by Mike, he would know Kevin wouldnt be there for the money and would just tell him to grow up if he stareted slacking.

I dont for one minute think Mike can be made in to the threshing machine he was 23 years ago but I do think he can still have success with Holyfield.

If he manned up and got past all the bullshiit that was his fault to start with then I do think he would be like a child showing off to his parents at a football game, just giving his all to please them, he could still beat Holyfield but the man needs to want to train because even now Holyfield is streets ahead, hes been figting regularly and if he fought Mike hed be fighjting someone that hasnt fought for 5 years and has been through rehab and all sorts of shiit, Mike would have to put a shiit load of effort in and I cant see him doing that for anyone else other than Rooney.

There has been so many Tyson comeback reports with little substance.

Im a bit suprised only one website is claiming this comeback if in fact its true.
The only thing that makes it somewhat believeable is Don King's track record of dragging fighters out of retirment.

He should do all that anyway without the fight. It is far too late for a come back. He has made up with King he should make up with Rooney and Steve.

I love Tyson for his natural gifts, speed, power, ko artist. But the guy didn't have the mental makeup. People can blame Don King and whoever was leeching off of him, but MIke only has himself to blame for his downfall. Him and him alone is the reason he never fullfilled his potential greatness.

Most fighters need another force in their corner to make them excel. By all early accounts of Tyson he seemed to realize that.
A trainer or father figure can make all the difference in the world if you need that mental reinforcement.
Tyson didnt seem to have the mental makeup to do it on his own but he had people in his corner that helped him get through tough situations. When that was gone I think what you are saying came to head very quickly.
I dont think its a total knock on Tyson himself as many great fighters have become great by having a solid structure and team in place.
I dont know too many fighters that have been able to get to the level Tyson did on their own or switching trainers every other fight.
