Pac and Valero are worlds apart.

For starters Valero does not a have a world renown trainer who can teach him the way Freddie taught Pac.

Let's just start with the basic. Pac has always had high defense hands and good waist movement (side to side) Valero has no defense he got caught with some good shots here by Hector. Waist movement well he has it I'm sure but I saw nothing.

I'm one who would defend Valero and like you I felt/feel he can grow and become something.

But we're talking about a fight vs. JMM, which would come within a 2 fights if he beats DeMarco which IMO it's gonna be a bloody fight. I want to favor Valero but something tells me DeMarcos gonna pull it off.

ANyway point being if Valero beats DeMarco you think Valero can make all these adjustments and change his fighting within 2 fights?
I highly doubt it, he might start off that way the 1st few rounds but as time goes by he'll resort to his old ways.
Valero hasnt got a renown trainer YET equally pac didnt always have Freddie, and for the Marquez fight how much does he have left im a big fan of him but i wonder what Mayweather took from him. He barely landed a shot on Mayweather that has to do something mentally to you?

You bring up a very valid point in the JMM loss to PBF.

The way I see it is JMM has never shined away after a defeat.
He lost to argueably P4P #1 in the world when he fought PBF.

He as many others also believe he has beat Pac twice.
Can the loss to PBF effect him? I'm sure in 1 way or another it has.
But again JMM has lost before and bounced back.

I myself am pretty confident he can beat Valero.

Personally I would much rather see him fight for a 4th title at Light Welter vs. Khan, Nate or Hatton.

He would become the 1st Mexican to do so I say this because I'm very confident he can beat either one.

Te difference between this loss and his others is the fashion in how he lost, but i would also like to see Marquez fight for a title at LW, and see a Valero vs a big name.
