He does have some very nice points. I was getting suspicious of Pac after his refusal. But after seeing the excuses and diverted attempts I am completely suspicious. The USADA chief knocks down another excuse from Pac's team for not wanting to take the tests. Blood vs. urine? USADA clears up fuss over Mayweather-Pacquiao drug testing feud | Floyd Mayweather - - MLive.com
At this point if Pac was on steroids he should do what a smart backed up criminal would do. Since he has never been caught he should stay off the steroids, take the tests, test clean, and get whooped by PBF. Plus, its boxing and he could always land that lucky shot. At least his past will look clean and his past success will appear confirmed clean. It would be a sacrificial loss. Because what his team is doing right now this is looking really bad. Pac needs to hire a strategist at this point.

Well thought out and said. I agree completely. Right now, I refuse to believe for certain that he beat Cotto (or any of his recent opponents) without the aid of PEDs. Stay clean for your last fight, lose to PBF and go down as a good fighter. That, or tarnish your entire career.

    Lol,

So I guess, they're going to ask for every fighter pre-blood test ?? for every fight they will need to go pre test and so on ?

let's remain serious, I have nothing against blood test, but you cannot create a special rule or special test for a fighter...more specifically if the demand is coming from the other fighter...

LOL. This issue has been bloated to the point of having a trial by publicity on Pac.

I guess Oscar De La Hoya is trying to put some question on Pac's win against him as he can't accept the fact that he was humiliated by a midget.

PBF, scared as he is against Pac, is taking advantage of the situation.

I just don't know what they will do next after Pac accept their term of random drug testing.

    Ohhh, let me guess.....

    More excuses?

If you can set catch weights and have financial weight stipulations, then I don't see the big deal in requesting a comprehensive drugs check.

The Pac defenders are also bloating the issue by trying to evade the issue at hand. All the arguments against the test have been countered effectively. The drug request is a new thing, but it brings to light the serious need for commisions to update their testing procedures because as things stand drug users can and will find loopholes.

This is a huge sum of money Pac will be taking away, it's only right that he proves he is worth it by showing that he is clean. A urine check is not enough to prove him clean as has been pointed out. We can al run around saying Mayweather is a chicken, but I don't see that at all. I see a serious issue being raised and Manny is not being responsible by responding as he currently is. Recent reports showing that he is suing for defamation seem to me quite petty and to be honest makes him look even more silly. It's an attempt to save face that just isn't going to work.

We've seen that he can take a blood test, now just do it randomly and get on with the fight. To give up 40 million dollars over this is insane.

We all accept the blood test, but it needs to be for everyone...you want blood tests ? good ! honestly, but impose it for every boxing bouts !

You cannot impose a new test procedure from a fighter demands...

and by the way, I would looove to have this same blood testing done for NFL and NBA :-)

Probably the first semi-sensible post you've made. I'm right with you there buddy. I hope Pacquiao accepts the USADA testing and fights, when we know that it's fair.

You know what, I would love it if Floyd just said, "fine..have it your way - No drug tests".

Then proceeded to whoop that stupid fucker from pillar to post. I'm sick of camp Pacquaio and this idiotic notion that they are all halo-wearing, angelic, charitable human beings who would never dream of cheating.

Their excuses always suck, their demands are ALWAYS ridiculous and then they come out smelling out of roses? Fcuk Pacquaio, Roach and Ariza.

If I was Floyd, I'd accept the fight - because you know damn well if Mayweather beats Pac who has already convinced everyone he is on gear by not agreeing to tests, Pacquaio's whole legacy is destroyed and Floyd goes down as one of the absolute best for beating the P4P Gear Monkey, naturally.

A very good article with a couple of credible specialists talking. If ever PAcman backs off, I will seriously wonder for the rest of my life, especially as he agrees to be tested by needle... but not one week before the fight:S
