    Default Boxing's International Regulatory Commission

Alright, as of now it's fiction. But if it did exist, how what should it do? How should it be funded? How far reaching should it's be?

Let's get a more constructive discussion going as opposed to the mudslinging that's been going on.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Ideally, I'd like to see an independent league form rather than something which is controlled and run by government. However, I don't think it's at all feasible and with all the various interests in boxing I don't think a regulatory commission would ever be possible.

Idealistically, it would have to be everywhere a fight is sanctioned, would imply that a banned boxer couldn't box in every country where this organization is in force with the same drug test everywhere. That would be some of the ideal ground rules but as CFH said, to achieve that would be... staggering and filled with trials and difficulties.

Mudslinging? Mudslinging goes on here. Naaaaah, I don't believe it.

I don't think the current boxing organizations will allow something like this to ever happen. They all like making up their own rules to fit their needs, and to line their pockets. I can't see them wanting to have to answer to someone else's rules.

I think something like this would be a great thing for boxing, but I can't see it ever happening.

But imagine if it was possible... it would mean that Margarito would be banned almost everywhere
