Holyfield was considered to be a shot fighter, when they fought in '96. What happened? Buster Douglass a 42-1 underdog that never did anything before or after Tyson. Lennox Lewis was massively past his prime and still beat Tyson.
Tyson's biggest wins were against bums and a weak HW era. A blownup LHW in Spinks? An old Larry HOlmes? Trevor Berbick? Come on that's a weak resume.
And the Tyson fanboys have the audacity to say he's better than Ali. Ali in his prime would do to Tyson what he did to Liston, another overrated puncher with a bully mentality.
Yeah the guy is a legend beating up bums and tomato cans.

. Spinks may have been a blown up LHW in your book, but at the time he was undefeated and had had success in the class by beating Holmes twice. A weak resume would suggest Tyson ducked people he should have fought. He fought everyone the division had to offer while he was on top.
