Jose Luis Castillo. Because he had Corrales beat, and lost it seconds later, in what I believe is the greatest fight of all time. I've honestly, never enjoyed a fight more.

Tarver to Jones? Really? Tarver had lost before Jones and in the rematch he smoked Roy. I wouldn't call that a defining loss. The Tyson-Douglas one, either. Mike was lazy, I would say a defining loss came when a fighter did everything he could do and acquitted himself well. Mike did a tenth of what he could do and got swatted like a fly.

McClellan vs Benn...it's sad but it's what he's remembered for and I'll just go ahead and say all the other fighters who got permenantly injured or died in the ring were usually defined by that happening to them. So I won't list the rest of the tragic fallen, even though I'm no fan of the G-Man, as a guy who has boxed before I respect someone who goes in there and puts it on the line.
Graham vs Jackson....that guy's entire career has been summed up in 1 thunderous punch.
Zab Judah vs Kostya Tszyu, same as above but add in a dance and fighting with the ref and that's Zab Judah.
James Butler vs Richard Grant....the sucker punch was just horrible, surely defined his career IN the ring and showed what type of person he is outside it.
Gerry Cooney vs Larry Holmes...he was a broken man after that fight and never righted the ship professionally.
Andrew Golota vs Riddick Bowe....earned him his nickname "The Foul Pole"
Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield...the ear biting is probably more infamous than Douglas KO-ing him.

At both ends of the spectrum Bert cooper?Looked legitimized and a serious threat taking three of the better heavys in the world to the brink of stunning defeats,Mercer,Moorer and Champion Holyfield.While Vs Foreman and Carl Williams he went out soft and flat quit.All deats though.
