Some people say boxing is a matter of life or death, it's not, it's far more important than that.

Antwun Echols. B- talent but A+ power. Hopkins said Echols is by far the hardest hitter he has ever faced. The guy is a devastating puncher in both hands who use to knock out sparring partners before he had to learn to lighten up.

Good call.Man Echols seemed a little touched in the grey matter but could bring the oddest angled bombs.Did you see his eliminator for that Hopkins fight with Brian Barbosa ?Was in bad shape and just launched a night cap shot outta no where, dropped Barbosa clean outta the ring onto the floor.Brutal end.

Sugar Ray Robinson- His 1 shot knockout of Gene Fullmer was impressive as hell. And having 109kos is pretty damn good.

Got to agree on this one, of current day fighters he would get my vote.

Would put Mike Tyson in there also, his early days was just KO heaven.

Past boxers - James J Braddock had one hell of a right hand, just ask Max Baer and Joe Louis.

    Current:

Abraham is head and shoulders the best.
Froch has good 1 punch power
    Either Klitschko
Arreola - No pretty, but he can stop you with either hand, one shot.
    Vic Darcincian - obvious
Pavlik - IN a way he does need to wear his man down, but he has one punch power. He isn't the fastest, so he needs to hypnotize you with the jab before he drops his "real" right. He shows early, then let's it go once he swells the eyes with the jab and they can't see it so well.
    Ding-a-Ling Man

    Recent History:

O'Neil Bell - will wait and do nothing for 8 rounds, gets an opening, then, lights out.
    Tito - goes without saying
    Prime Herbie Hide
    Julian Jackson
    Hearns
    Lennox
    Tua
    Corrie Sanders
    George Foreman 2.0
    Terry Norris
Micky Ward - best one-punch body puncher, ever.
    Kostya Tszyu
    Hamed

    Classic History:
    Shavers
    Monzon
    Bob Foster
    Rocky Marciano
    Ray Robinson, especially at WW
    Henry Armstrong
    Jack Dempsey
    Ketchell
Hurrican Carter - believe it or not, he can Monzon were the only two fighters to KO Emile Griffith. Slick boxers gave him problems, but he was one of the hardest.
