If the Mayweathers wanted this fight, as they are leading the public to believe, then they should have just raised the steroids issue "after" the fight and not before the fight. Just so that the fight happens.

Vargas looked juiced up, but De La Hoya still beat the living daylights out of him anyways.

Win or lose, for the fight to happen is money in the bank. As "moneymay" ya would think, would have it... eh?

Win, could have been tooo much heaven. Lose, gives them a built-in easy out... the 'roid card.

But nooooo! Nothin' should threaten the "0".

Mayweather didnt agree to the following so who really is to blame?
Im sorry but for me shows Mayweather doesnt want to fight Pac.

    1. blood test before the Press Conference
    2. blood test 24 days before the fight
    3. blood test at the dressing room right after the fight (if anyone took any substance as aid for the fight, it wouldn't magically disappear fifteen minutes after right?)
    4. unlimited urine testing during the whole training period (urine testing is the prescribed method by WADA to detect EPO and is now developed by USADA to detect HGH)

how could any sane boxer cheat with this?

missing the point big time here

all those blood tests listed , before th conference, 24 days before etc arent random much has been made and posted of the fact that a pre planned test can be easilly decieved, as for after the fight, once again, the ped's will have been taken for training purposes not right before the fight,

That really is a tiny tiny window for manny to cheat during his training and then he gets tested too after the fight

The whole world is watching him and the flomos will be very vigilant. do you really think manny will attempt to be even go near anything illegal?

If i was floyd and i really really want to fight manny, and i already told the whole world prior that i can beat him roids or no roids, i should have at least compromised a little like manny already did (all the blood test weren't NSAC ruling after all)

The NSAC drug screens are the MINIMUM though just as 147 is the MAXIMUM weight for welterweight, but if the fighters agree to a catchweight of 145 it is STILL a welterweight fight. Additional random blood tests are STILL legit through the NSAC. I make this comparison because this has somehow become a policy debate. EPO is undetectable in urine if taken in small doses everyday but is only detectable in the blood for about 48 hours. So if there are essentially 2, 24 day windows, either fighter could potentially have 44 days of EPO use in their training and pass all the predefined blood tests and random urine tests.

Thats funny I read the same specialists that you are referring to say that its a joke to have scheduled blood tests, that you could certainly cycle around them... Besides Mayweather is willing to go through the same tests so I think your point loses its validity...

Not to mention teenage gymnasts and ice skaters random blood test and they wont even make a fraction of what Pussiauo will make for this fight.

So emotional hormonal teenage Hannah Montana and twilight watching girls are willing to submit random blood tests. But the supposed PFP#1 in one of the most brutal combat sports in the world with a whole country on his back and potential 40 million dollars in his pocket and HE WONT FUCKIN DO IT? Anyone who dosent think thats absurd is an absolute fuckin nutter.. The guy is hiding something!!!!

I watched Major League Ball Players pull this same shiit for years until they got caught and the ones who didnt get caught or proven guilty wont even sniff the Hall Of Fame either. It's all Bullshit 24 days? GET REAL!!, he didnt move shit at all, at least counter with 10 days or something. Yet you blame Mayweather because he didnt move

In the bigger picture random blood testing and some kind of organized union is the best damn thing that can happen to the sport so it weeds cheaters out and removes the corruptness that we complain about after every damn high profile fight... Again if Pac had to do it alone thats one thing but he he has tattoos and the rest of his half baked excuses are exactly that, the little shit will lose more blood in the 1st three rounds of the fight than he would from a blood test a day or 2 before

40 million dollars. ok.. its a HUGE amount. but you are confusing manny for money. 40 million dollars cannot buy dignity my friend. you forgot that manny came from having nothing.
and 10 days? didnt you read what mayweather wanted? he wanted random testing. even if manny said that 5 days before the fight cut off floyd would still say no.

I work in sales my friend, with that being said: During the negotiating the goal is to make concessions on each part until there is reasonable compromise and both sides feel like they are getting a good deal, with that there is movement on both sides of course.. Manny at mediation didnt waver from his stance wouldnt counter with anything and stuck to 24 days, Floyd said no...My point is Manny wasnt even being reasonable or receptive to anything other than scheduled blood work... That tells me he is hiding something again Floyd was willing to submit to the same criteria.. Tell me again how this is Floyds fault?

This is about the fourth time Arum has said the fight is off. GBP are saying there's still a negotiation window, or they're negotiating still, I forget. I haven't read the thread yet but I will later. Not looking promising though.

EDIT: it isn't off till one of them signs a contract for another fight. The only promotion the fight needs in 24/7, there's no problem with this ticking over another week or so before any announcement.

thats good that you work for sales. just like when somebody bargains with you and you dont like the deal? do you say no right away or you keep bargaining till you reach a middle ground? all this time floyd wanted random testing. floyd didnt even bargain at all.. he just said NO upfront. he could have told manny "how about 10 days before the fight?" and maybe manny could have said yes or no.. but thats another arguement.

I don't know if it is true, but people all over the internet are saying that there are special steroids that can be out of the system in a few hours like 16-18 hours. Of course I haven't read any scientific journal that acknowleges this claim.

But if it is true that there are special PEDs that can be out of the system in a few hours, wouldn't it make sense that random blood testing even up to the fight is needed?

supposedly certain drugs such as IGF-1 can only be detected by muscle biopsy so its certainly possible

That is absolutely rediculous. If you believe someone is cheating in a way that could possibly cause you serious bodily harm, why would you wait until AFTER they've done it to complain about it? What good did it do Billy Smith to bring up the "doctored gloves" issue AFTER he took a 10 round beating and was never able to fight again?

Hypothetically speaking, if Floyd took the fight, and was beaten by a roiding Pacquiao, any talk of a "steroid issue" would be looked at as the mandatory "face saving excuses" that nearly all fighters bring up after a stinging loss. People would say "well if he fear Pac was juicing, why didn't he bring it up BEFORE the fight?"

This is incredible, though. I never bothered to follow all the mediation and back-and-forth between the camps, because there was never a doubt in my mind that the fight would happen. Too much money at stake. Now we have two ATG's, p4p, in their prime, who are here to fight but won't because of some stupid drug-testing issue.
