Oh i remember when i first joined, I was only 15 when i joined back in 2004. Back when wackos drunken round by rounds were only just getting started back when he was michael_3205, when steelie, missy, rick rack, memphis and andre,brad ruled the boards and saddo only had to step in occasionally.

Now steelie is MIA (assumed to be locked in saddos basement and loving it), Missy has lost all of her mystique and confirmed that she is a horny littly minx , rick rack...yeah what happened to that guy, possibly banned, memphis is probably working and managing his family and andre is the boards spiritual guide and brad is probably just chilling out and hangin with his family.

It has been a good 5 and a bit yrs thats for sure, do miss some of the older poster like taansend, brad, wacko,steelie (not in that way ya poof ),memphis, spade, wise guy. It was pretty mellow back in those days.

I always go out of my way to rep people when I think I have seen them post something good. I have even given good rep to the few Manny fans who are arguing things in a reasonable way.

I must admit that I wasn't very nice to that Mike guy and did indeed neg rep him a total of 3 times. I have never done that to anybody before, but he had no reason to call us losers in every post. And he called me a limey who was still crying over Hatton. My god, that one cut me to the bone.

Some of these new people could sign up and make themselves at home and some do, but some come on here with a really nasty attitude and bring up nonsense because they can't form cogent arguments.

Although I've got the site bookmarked in the office, I only get my internet access there switched on once every two months or so, when I cover for another woman and the duties need internet access.

As for your other point miles, I think that the more fans who can form a logical argument are who we're trying to attract, the bigoted name-callers who hate all who disagree with them are the ones we need to drop.

It's still the best place to talk boxing, though. I learn more from reading what you guys have to say than any other source - who's coming up that is worth keeping an eye on, lots of behind the scenes news, etc. Plus it's great to see the intelligent debates on here. You might have to wade through a few (thousand) posts of name calling to get to it, but it's always worth it.
