maidana is a very dangerous fight to take. But he`s no better than kotelnik and a similar khan than beat him will take maidana every day of the week.

Khans career is still stagnating from the prescott farce. Had he not of taken that fight he would now already be in with the likes of paulie, diaz and bradley.

In my opinion khan beats all 3 of those
I agree here. It seems he's the one who wants Khan in with the dangerous mandatory, whilst Roach would prefer Khan in with Malignaggi or someone. As big as Khan is in the UK, I'm not sure he's got a following that will travel to the US yet.

Also with his chin, it would be a good idea that he parts on good terms with Warren. He might need him again soon

i think it would be a mistake to leave Warren.. Warren knows Khans limitations and as soon as he leaves him he won't be as protected.

great for the fans but i think its a bad move for Khan.

is Prescot with Warren if not he soon will be

With Khan you have to be carefull, He is not improving as much as you think. The matching has to be spot on, His Head hasnt moved from where it was over His front foot . Struggles going back because of it. Warrens done a great Job.

Khan needs to be careful that if he ventureds out into the real world and stops having carefully matched opponents at home then theres a real chance he will be forced to meet a LIVE opponent. Top rank and Golden boy dont mess about. If you can cut it youre gone. Warren knows Khans limitations and thats why he has got him to where he is. I hope Khan does got to America , that way we can see if he does have anythingh to offer or not.

Naz, Hatton and Joe left Warren because they can make more money without him. Amir will do the same if he is any good, if not he will stay with him like Enzo and the rest.

Full props to Khan if he goes through with this and gets free from Warren. It would show that he has his sights set on a higher plain and is perhaps willing to take risks with his career. It might go horribly wrong with that chin, but if he is able to surprise me then fair enough.

Hit the nail on the head there mate. Always wondered why he looks unstable going backwards.

I don't think he should leave warren. I do think he should vacate though. Learn some more with Roach whilst taking a few more low risk fights. Stop worrying about topping bills for a while. Work on his technique with Roach.

Or fight a few feather fisted, but quality, guys. Like Paulie.

I actually think he'd beat Maidana quite handily but then that thrust him in there with someone he's perhaps not ready for. Don't get me wrong, i give him a chance against everyone really, but as the quality in opposition goes up, so does the chance of him losing. And loss number 2 at this stage would hurt him greatly.

people give Warren a lot of shit that he does not deserve; he has pitted is fighters against a lot of dangerous opponents or made offeres, it's an old story but he made Hopkins a career high offer to face Xalzaghe, Roy jones him self said he was offered big money to fight calzaghe but turne dit down because he was to dangerous and to unknown at the time and thats from Roys mouth. He put Enzo against haye.

Say what you want but he made Khan what he is, if khan wasn;t guided to where he was now he would of been sparked out a hell of a lot more than what he has been now and roach or any other top trainer owuldn't of touched him.

I dont think there is any doubt Warren gets his fighters to World Champ status the easisest and safest way. The trouble is he continues to put the good fighters he has/had in with tomato cans for the majority of their career. Hatton and Calzaghe both had 35+ fights before they really started taking on top guys consistently. He probably wasted a lot of both those guys primes.

Khan is after a deal with one of the American promoters. The only offer he currently has is from Warren to fight Maidana. You've got to wonder if Warren is looking to get him sparked again so that he ends up staying in Britain with Warren.

i think warren had options on presscott as part of the khan deal, it seemed like warren was trying to freeze him out at first but then got mitchell to take him out of the picture
