    1. PBF
    2. Winky
    3. Pac
    4. B-Hop (though he moves off as soon as he makes retirement absolutely official/certain)
    5. Taylor (i thought he lost this one and the first against Hopkins, and still has serious flaws, but you have to give him credit for being so competetive with two guys that were top 2 p4p when he faced them).
    6. Barrera (but I think he might be slipping)
    7. R Marquez (underrated because he's small--might be top 5, really)
    8. Calzaghe (has faced worse competition than all of those above, but his record stands for something)
    9. Castillo
    10. Hatton (though I'm sure I could be convinced someone else deserves this spot more; if he can beat Cotto or Castillo he'll get my respect)

B- Hop and Winky could have arguably been p4p number 1 when they fought Taylor so I dont think 3 is too high for a man who everyone agrees is still improving yet the best fighters cant beat him
Tsyu was arguably P4P #1 when he was about to fight hatton to, but you don't see hatton in the top 3 do you?

and hopkins, winky and taylor in there above calzaghe? what a joke winky can't is skilled but can't punch for shitm JT is good and will improve but he has along way to go with a defence and work rate.. hopkins wudn't live with calzaghes pace power and skills, i dont think he wuda beaten him prime for prime either, but as of right now P4P means NOW not then, not who they beat, skiled right here right now!

Calzaghe has a solid chin and ain't being stopped by Hop so Calzaghe wins that one.

Winky is a skilled fighter but he just wouldn't have the power to hurt Joe at all. Plus Calzaghe is quicker than Wright, with much more power and is a better fighter than Taylor so would beat him convincingly. Taylor bashed up Winky pretty bad, even Soliman with his terrible style. Calzaghe is quicker, throws more and is more accurate than Taylor and Soliman so would easily outpoint Wright. Wright may just have enough to hold out for the 12 rounds but I'm not even sure of that.

Taylor would be the biggest challenge for Joe. A big strong, hungry and young fighter who could cause Joe lots of problems. At this stage in his career he's still a little rough around the edges and I reckon Calzaghe would take advantage of Taylor's flaws and punish him. A great fight though.
Hopkins would make Calzaghe miss alot of shots, he wont be standing in front of him, that for me is 50/50 i cant work out which style has the advantage.

Winky would be pummled by Calzaghe IMO, he is far to slow but saying that i dont think he would be as offensive against Calzaghe as he was against Taylor, if he was he would be to slow for Clazaghe.

Taylor Calzaghe is intresting i think Calzaghe's workrate is far to much for Taylor and Calzaghe would win a UD.

laughable. Tsyu was clearly on his way down, was no one's p4p #1, and hadn't fought in a year when he fought hatton. He's also THE ONLY good fighter Hatton's ever fought. Contrast that with Taylor, who fought THREE fights IN A ROW against not just "arguably", but pretty universally recognized top 3 p4p fighters. I don't think Taylor won all of those fights, but they were all very close, which puts him in the same league as Winky and Bernard. They're also his only close fights--whereas Hatton's most recent close fight/loss was against a virtual unknown who was on no one's top 20 p4p. The analogy doesn't work.

Not a joke. Calzaghe's never beaten a top 10 p4p fighter--he has a great record but has never proven himself against the best. Hopkins, Winky and Taylor all have. (As have Pacman and Barrera, who should be included above Calzaghe.)

Now this is a joke. I wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins KO'd Calzaghe today, let alone prime for prime.

    agree with you doode cc...

i like joe.C but ever since he beat jeff lacy his way overhyped now...yes his undefeated but i doubt he still would be if he had fights in america...plus jeff lacy wasn't at all top 10 nor 15 p4p...so really joe.C has beaten nobody rank top p4p...I can't believe how people make it seem he'll beat everybody now(winky taylor bhop) just kuz he beat a young jeff lacy...adding to that his bigger...

Totally agree. B-hop would tear Calzaghe up. Joe been gettn way too much hype from his win over Lacy, it's getting ridiculous.

Yea somewhat... I mean is there anyone that thinks that in hindsight, Hopkins or Taylor wouldn't have beaten Lacy badly as well? How could they not have??

Yeah, Raheem? Really? He looked like anything but an elite fighter bulling around the ring tackling Freitas in his last loss.

My top P4P would probably go something like this:
    1. Bernard Hopkins
    2. Floyd Mayweather
    3. Winky Wright
    4. Jermain Taylor(regrettably, but with a draw against Wright, he probably should be here)
    5. Manny Pacquaio
    6. Rafael Marquez
    7. Joe Calzaghe
    8. Ricky Hatton(despite losing to Collazo, "officially" he won.)
    9. Miguel Cotto
    10. Kaseem Ouma
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
