B- Hop and Winky could have arguably been p4p number 1 when they fought Taylor so I dont think 3 is too high for a man who everyone agrees is still improving yet the best fighters cant beat him

Ok lets be realistic here.

The only way Hopkins could beat Calzaghe is to knock him out. Hop only throws about 20 punches a round whereas Calzaghe averages close to 1000 a fight so Hopkins ain't winning that one on points.

Calzaghe has a solid chin and ain't being stopped by Hop so Calzaghe wins that one.

Winky is a skilled fighter but he just wouldn't have the power to hurt Joe at all. Plus Calzaghe is quicker than Wright, with much more power and is a better fighter than Taylor so would beat him convincingly. Taylor bashed up Winky pretty bad, even Soliman with his terrible style. Calzaghe is quicker, throws more and is more accurate than Taylor and Soliman so would easily outpoint Wright. Wright may just have enough to hold out for the 12 rounds but I'm not even sure of that.

Taylor would be the biggest challenge for Joe. A big strong, hungry and young fighter who could cause Joe lots of problems. At this stage in his career he's still a little rough around the edges and I reckon Calzaghe would take advantage of Taylor's flaws and punish him. A great fight though.

Hopkins would make Calzaghe miss alot of shots, he wont be standing in front of him, that for me is 50/50 i cant work out which style has the advantage.

Winky would be pummled by Calzaghe IMO, he is far to slow but saying that i dont think he would be as offensive against Calzaghe as he was against Taylor, if he was he would be to slow for Clazaghe.

Taylor Calzaghe is intresting i think Calzaghe's workrate is far to much for Taylor and Calzaghe would win a UD.
