Exactly. You can accuse a lot of people of ducking but to blame Hatton for it as well? That is a load of old codswallop.

A ducker, no.. but he did have an inflated record. IMO Urango was his most impressive fight as Urango didn't have the technical skills to deal with Hatton's style. A dirty victory over an old Tszyu means little to me, and the fact that you have to mention Collazo on his list of big fights (a fight that he was undeniably hurt in and arguably lost), just shows that he was never in that top echelon of fighters. A very likable, popular fighter, but by no means one of the best. Cotto would beat him him now and would've killed him when they were both undefeated. No question in my mind.

Agreed on the first point. There was too much dross under Warren, but since then I think he has fought a fair few credible opponents. Hatton has done alright and I think he is getting a lot of stick because he has lost 2 of his last 4. He has fallen short of being amongst the very best, but he is still a very good fighter and on his best day would give almost anyone a good fight. The Pac fight just took the piss, Hatton isn't quite that bad.
