Eh i'll watch Margarito, hell i like to see how he comes back and if he really did cheat in every fight. Also Pac vs Clotty a great fight as well so i think it is a good card. So far it seems like no one is amped for it, but i think its a good night of fights.

As far as I'm aware Margarito had his licensed REVOKED in the US, not just suspended for one year. Which means after one year he'll be entitled to a hearing to see if he can get his license reinstated.

He's no certainty one would imagine, especially given how bullshit his "I don't know, my manager always does it, I look the other way" defense was.

I'd say Margarito is at very long odds to get licensed in the States, and Pac/Clottey is in Texas - so don't hold your breath.

Does anyone know how close they are to actually getting the fight together. Is there even a contract that is signed, also greig i thought he was just suspended for a year and then he was good.

The suspension is one year, to be revisited after that year for a further decision. I believe mid March is the date. they may grant him a new licence. They may ban him forever. or maybe something in between.

Personally, I hope they grant him a permit to sell hotdogs at the big fights, because you see, I'm not completely heartless to that sack of shit. I wouldn't mind if he made a few dollars.

Yea well what ever the case, I think every man should have a chance at redemption. Even Margarito, so if he does comeback better make the most of it. Also i was even that big of a fan of Margarito, but after all the shit that happened i think it be better as a whole if he came back strong. Showed maybe he didn't know, and it was the first time it was used in the Mosley fight. So for Margarito we while have to wait and see what happens with him i guess.
