    Default Mosley vs Berto

Its nearly here so who wins? My head says Mosley and i want Mosley but if he turns up like he did against Mayorga he could be in trouble because Berto is no mug one of my concerns for Berto is he has been dropped by Cosme Rivera and he isn't a Banger unlike Mosley also had Steve Forbes had more power Berto could have been in for a bad night then so im going Mosley.

I think Mosley might well stop Berto if he has the same mindset he had against Margarito. He used the jab well and boxed smarter than usual. I just look at Berto as being somewhat limited and he has never really impressed me. An on form Mosley busts him up.

Im slightly edging towards Berto, yeah Mosley looked great against Margarito but against Mayorga he looked a little shot. Maybe the hunger of a showdown with PBF/PAC might inspire him to another great performance, but I feel the younger Berto might take this one on the scorecards.

The knockdown vs Rivera played a pretty big part in why I changed my mind. If the bell hadnt rung when it did Berto would have been knocked out by a bum I originally picked Berto cuz I usually go with youth over experience however having studied Berto further I dont think he is up to it. Shane will have to be pretty bad if he is to lose here.

Berto doesnt look that good when he opens up compared to Shane. People say he is a younger version but I think he is a cross between him and Floyd but without the class. His upperbody is very stiff and maybe thats why he tires. Against Colazzo he was on his last legs and was hurt in that fight early. Shane effortlessly dealt with Collazo before that

IMO Mosley, i wouldn't really be disappointed if the fight were to be postponed really, i thought it was only slightly in favor of Mosley but given Berto's response on the whole situation in Haiti, and due to the fact that already some of his relatives (on his mother's side) have been confirmed dead, i don't think that he's mentally ready much less emotionally ready for the fight, if it goes on as scheduled, IMO Mosley stops him

Or he draws strength from it and puts on an inspired performance like Douglas did with Tyson after his mum died

ElTerribleMorales and Game beat me to it, but I am curious how the Haiti situation will affect Berto. Like ElTerribleMorales I thought the fight should or would be postponed and there wouldn't be anything really wrong with it.

I like Mosley in this one, but Berto is very fast. Great welterweight fight.

in all fairness and not to take anything away from Douglas, Tyson's laziness in preparing for the fight played a big role in it as well

    I think Mosley stops Berto.

Berto's chin doesn't seem to be very good and Mosley is one of the biggest punchers at 147.

Berto has a decent chance with his speed and movement though.

Berto is a wee bit overrated IMO and I think Shane has the skills and the pop to come out on top. The only way Berto wins is with smart tactics and lots of movement.
