I think Cintron is better than Clottey. You have to admit he is absolutely much more dangerous. Overall, these two are on the same level though. Clottey just doesn't have the aggression. His peekaboo defense is too much of his makeup. And the Cotto fight co-signed what I thought the Margarito fight showed and that is Clottey has no heart when the going gets tough. Cintron beat Angulo. Cintron was very impressive in that fight and looked improved. Plus, you have to admit Cintron has the power and aggression to stop any 147 pounder.

Id have the house on Clottey beating Cintron.

I wasn't saying Cintron is a better fighter than Clottey. I was answering that Cintron is a better fight than Clottey. Their fight would be too tough to decipher the victor for any house to be on the line. To me, they are both B to B+ welterweights.

And in the argument over who's better, it's a pretty fair comparison. Clottey is the tight defensive fighter while Cintron is the aggressive machine. This makes sense as Manny will pressure Clottey and Floyd will be pressured by Cintron. Styles make fights and these styles seem to fit together nicely.
