Records are for DJ's - Dan 'The outlaw' Hardy
....even when you could see him get slaughtered in the ring? I mean IF you have any faith in his opponent and if his opponent has any skill that's what SHOULD happen.
If Ruiz fought Wlad or Vitali and I had a chance to go I'd be there! I wouldn't miss seeing Johnny get KTFO for the world!
Haye's fights are exciting; the fight with Valuev is the only one that wasn't and part of that was the injured hand. It still had its moments though including the big thrill in the last rd.
Some positive notes to come out of that was proof Haye can go 12 rds since his conditioning/endurance has been questioned in the past, and also that he displayed good boxing skills and especially the ability to make adjustments.
Some guys are 1-dimensional and still get pretty far, but a guy who can change up his game has an edge.
John The Quiet Man Ruiz is notorious for putting on forgettable performances, but I got a gut feeling that Haye/Ruiz will be a pretty good scrap.
I can't wait for Haye's customary opening salvo pre-fight trash-talk.
Dude's f#<kin' PHUNNY !
The "Lord of the Rings" stuff and attacking the personal hygiene of the other guy was pure gold.

I think even ordinary Ruiz has a fair chance of knocking Haye out , i would only give the odds as 60 -40 in Hayes favor. May be the most exciting fight Ruiz has ever been in , i think this is an up and downer with lots of knock downs.

I just dont see it
Early haye was always open to taking a beating if you stuck it too him as thompson showed.
But the last 3 performances have showed a hell of a lot of maturity from haye and if he can continue to fight in bursts and be defensively cautious i dont see how the hell john ruiz is gonna be able to handle hayes speed and power
one dangerous horrible bloke

My God man, you call yourself a fan
RJJ and James Toney have laid out the blueprint plain and simple for ANYONE fighting John Ruiz. COUNTER RIGHT HAND, if your boy can't follow that then there's no damn hope for him.

John Ruiz shouldn't last the distance vs ANYONE that holds a major belt
