Depends on what time of day you visit I noticed....Not too mention I noticed that many of the top posters and semi regulars are becoming fed up with all the Pacquiao/Mayweather nonsense...Some guys HAVE to mention them in every post in every thread,,,

EG- a thread about Adamek as a HW brought at least 3 references to Manny out of the 10 post in the thread...

You can't talk about any topic in boxing without some asshole mentioning a dead topic...

    I just want to say...

I have been around for a long time, i just only can view Saddo while i am at work (no internet at home), so my posting is very limited... But this is my favorite boxing forum because of the versatility of its fan base and you get a full range of perspectives... Even though i don't agree with them, being that i am a die hard Pacfan, but i too don't enjoy the flooded PBF/PAC debate... Its a dead horse now...

I think everyone has noticed that the forum has slowed down recently and that much of the discussion has, understandably, been focused on issues surrounding the Pacquiao - Mayweather debacle. However, just complaining about it isn't going to change anything and I really think that people (myself included) should take an active role in creating the type of forum they want to have. If we make a commitment to regularly discussing the types of topics we want to see, then I think improvement will begin almost immediately. I will personally try to participate in as many main board topics which I have an opinion on (when I have the time) and I would encourage others to do the same by either starting their own threads or by posting in other peoples.

That being said, it is true that boxing is in a bit of a lull right now, so some slow down does go along with that.

There is some truth to what CFH is saying, I'll sit in front of the computer for a while for work or school with the browser open and check it every once in a while seeing if somebody posted while I could just be starting some kind of discussion instead of wasting my time like today making bizarre comments on the Tyson-Liston thread

Im always starting threads with breaking news and new storys in the boxing world, just doesnt seem to be enough people about to get many replys. I have about 10 British storys that I thought about posting but maybe it's the wrong attitude but I cant be arsed no one goes in there.

No one posted anything in the British Forum for 48 hours up until earlier today. I come on here to interact with other fans and it just doesnt happen anymore, shame really.

It's always like this this time of year, when there aren't as many big fights. I mean shit only Friday Night Fights shows boxing currently in America, HBO and Showtime both have some time and the ESPN cards haven't been anything special. Plus there is plenty of activity in the Pac-Mayweather board.

I think that it's just normal that for some periods, it will slow down, it would be unthinkable, to me, to assume that the board will always go full throttle, peoples are sometimes busy, things that are happening in boxing have been thoroughly dug till something else pans out from it all. I remember this forum to have been slowed this summer as well and then all of a sudden, it started back with a couple hundred posts every day. Personally, I am not too worried about it for the moment, I just see it as some normal tide balance so to speak.

I must admit that I barely knew the British forum existed. I rarely post in there. As for the site, I think it is a bit slow at the moment, but hope it will pick up when we get a solid fight.
