Pascal set to fight Chad Dawson

This should be a great fight.

I've never been that high on Pascal, I thought he blatantly ducked Miranda after talking a ton of shit about hit, but ever since the Froch fight I have been forced to respect him and he really is proving himself to be a special fighter. I don't think he can beat Dawson, but I do think that he'll put on a great performance and just come up a little short.

And Hopkins is blatantly ducking anyone who can a) beat him or b) won't give him 98% of the purse. That's fine IMO, given where he is in his career, but I really wish he wasn't holding the division hostage. I think at this point that Dawson should be considered the number 1 fighter at LHW.

I'm quite a fan of Pascal man, I've liked him for a while. Very exciting, can knockout and also not adverse to being wobbled himself..... This should be a great fight. Pascal will be a certain tougher test than an old Glenn Johnson with his good footwork and fast combinations.

If i had to pick a winner id probably go with dawson to take a decison. But considering chad is likely to start this fight 1/3 on its potentially one of those real earners for fight fans.

I think Dawson is the far and away best Light heavy right now. BHop can not say anything to refute that because he has followed the business-only fighter trend. If Dawson beats Pascal and maybe Cloud this year he'll be forced to move down looking to join the loaded 168 division. The kid is a fighter with a fighter's hearts so we can expect to see Dawson fight the top guys. Heck, Dawson is willing to fight them single handedly and not wait for some to eliminate each other.

PAscal has all his chances, it would be follish to count him out without any chance, perhaps Dawson should have the edge but Pascal should definitely be considered, especially as he trains now also with Pedro Diaz, the incredible cuban coach that used to master the cuban elite team's guide.
