This section used to be a place that was buzzing with activity. People were always posting about irresponsible actions, personal crises or panda versus tiger fights. Sometime over the past 2 years these people were gradually driven out.

I blame it on the pseudo-intellectual postings of CFH.

Now the most wild action we get here is when miles "pushes the envelope" with another one of his dry remarks

The only thing that has kept me from posting much over the last two months, is because this site has just become so damn slow, and I keep getting those damn database errors. So, I end up just getting tired of trying, and just get off the site.

Yeah, that is really frustrating when that happens. If it happens a couple of times I pretty much give up on trying to log in for the day. It becomes too much effort.

Yea the signing-in problem can be quite annoying, but i usually keep trying.

When i first came back in August/September i usually only contributed to the main board. Now i pretty much never post in there - some people just twist every topic to say whatever they want to say regardless of if its relevant. Also there is far too much repetition and people not reading the thread properly. Now i stick mostly to lets get it on, but i still don't post often enough.

As for UK board, i think its a shame it gets used rarely. Sometimes I would like to post something that would only really be interesting from a British perspective, so I don't put it on main board, but then don't bother posting it on UK board either as i know it will probably be a day before it gets a reply. The same goes for replying to topics on UK board. I do reply but I'm less inclined too then if it was busy. Thats my fault though. If more people started posting then others would etc etc, it would snowball i think.
